4 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals placed defensive tackle Geno Atkins (shoulder) on the Injured Reserve on Wednesday with a right shoulder injury that has been bothering him all year long. A source said he will have shoulder surgery. The fourth-round pick of 2010 will miss the rest of the season with just three games remaining. An already weak Bengals Defense will be ripe for the picking against a Steelers team that has struggled on offense in their two straight losses. It'll be a nice bounce-back spot for them. The 32-year-old eight-time Pro Bowler will finish the 2020 season with just one tackle and one QB hit in eight games played in an injury plagued campaign. Cincy's already vulnerable run defense will be even more attackable with Atkins out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
