Austin Hays Back In O's Lineup
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays is back in the team's starting lineup on Tuesday, starting in left field and batting cleanup against the visiting Houston Astros and left-hander Framber Valdez. Hays has missed the last two games due to general soreness, but he'll return for fantasy managers on Tuesday after the team's scheduled off day on Monday. The 28-year-old is plenty useful in fantasy hitting in the middle of a potent lineup, although his counting stats have still left a lot to be desired in 2023. He's also gone 6-for-30 (.200) with no homers, a double, two RBI, six strikeouts and five runs scored in his last eight starts since July 28. Hays has a nice .287 average (105-for-366), but it's come with just nine homers, 42 RBI and 52 runs scored.
