Anthony Santander Not Hitting Yet
Anthony Santander (shoulder) has not been cleared to swing the bat yet, according to the team's manager John Schneider. Santander has been throwing the baseball, but hasn't progressed to hitting yet. The 30-year-old has been sidelined since late May due to left shoulder inflammation. He did receive a PRP injection in June, but it hasn't helped him too much. Once Santander has begun hitting, he'll likely need to go on a minor league rehab assignment. There is currently no timetable for his return to the field. He was struggling before the injury, so fantasy managers might need to make a decision soon.
