Jeferson Quero Has a Locker in Brewers Clubhouse
Jeferson Quero reportedly has a locker in the Brewers clubhouse. No official call-up has been announced, although it was confirmed that he is joining the taxi squad. Regular catcher William Contreras suffered a hand bruise on Saturday and was out of the lineup on Sunday. Contreras said he wanted to play on Sunday, but the team held him out and he is considered day-to-day. If Quero were to be called up, it would be his major league debut. The Brewers' fourth-ranked prospect dealt with shoulder and hamstring injuries this season, and was limited to just 58 games at Triple-A this year, where he slashed .255/.336/.412 with six home runs and a solid 10.0 percent walk rate. The 22-year-old is running out of time to help fantasy managers in 2025, but he could be a factor next season and is a solid dynasty stash at the catcher position.
