Anthony DeSclafani Holds Cardinals To One Run
6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani pitched well in a 3-1 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. DeSclafani held the Cardinals to one run over five innings while racking up seven strikeouts. He escaped with a no-decision in the outing. DeSclafani now has a 2-3 record, 4.70 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 62 strikeouts in 59 1/3 innings of work. He has been rather inconsistent this season, which limits his upside in mixed leagues. That being said, he is on the radar as a streaming option in plus matchups. That will be the case in his next start when he faces off against the Cleveland Indians.
