Aaron Judge Homers in Three-Hit Game
Aaron Judge provided one of the club's few highlights in a 5-3 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. Judge took Orioles right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano deep for his 27th home run, a third-inning solo blast. He also singled twice, drew a walk, and struck out in a 3-for-4 night. It was the first multi-hit game since June 10 for Judge, who also broke six-game homer and RBI droughts. While the two-time AL MVP has cooled off of late, he's still slashing an otherworldly .371/.468/.739 with 61 RBI and 67 runs over 333 trips to the plate. However, he's an unsightly 4-for-19 with no extra-base hits, zero RBI, and 10:2 K:BB against the Orioles' Zach Eflin. The right-handed Eflin will start against Judge and the Yankees on Saturday.
