MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/27/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Carlos Rodon - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups - icon rotoballer

Free daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings, FanDuel. Use Euan's MLB DFS expert picks to build winning DFS lineups on June 27, 2024.

Happy Thursday, RotoBallers! The pre-weekend slate for MLB is always smaller, but the DFS sites have decided to make it a little harder on DFS managers. FanDuel is at least offering us a six-game slate, but DraftKings has narrowed it down to four matchups. Check the lineup lock times on both sites to avoid missing out.

Baltimore is obliterating right-handed pitchers in June, and it could be a rough day at the office for Jon Gray. The Orioles lead baseball in OPS, wOBA, and wRC+ against righties this month. Fortunately, things look pretty clear regarding the weather. The only thing to monitor is some strong winds in Philadelphia that are projected to blow left to right at Citizens Bank Park.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/27/2024 and the slate locking at 6:40 p.m. EDT and 7:10 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Corbin Burnes - RHP, BAL vs. Rangers ($10.1K FanDuel) - FanDuel only

DraftKings doesn't have the Texas-Baltimore game on its evening slate, so you'll have to switch to FanDuel if you want to roster Corbin Burnes. The former Brewer is plodding his way through his first year on the East Coast with Baltimore. Through 16 starts and 99 2/3 innings, Burnes has twirled a 2.35 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and a 17.8 percent K-BB%. The strikeouts are down, but everything else looks alright. This makes the 29-year-old a fantastic option on Thursday versus a Texas team that is bottom of the league in June for OPS (.570), wOBA (.255), and wRC+ (60) against right-handed pitchers.

Carlos Rodon - LHP, NYY at Blue Jays ($8.6K DraftKings; $9.3K FD)

From May 8 to June 10 (seven starts), Carlos Rodon had a 2.28 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and a 19.3 percent K-BB%. Unfortunately, that rich vein of form has come to a shuddering halt over the last two games as the Yankees Southpaw has allowed 12 earned runs and three home runs in the previous eight 2/3 innings. However, we will favor the longer sample size compared to a two-game blip. Especially when tonight's game comes against a Toronto squad that sits 30th in batting average (.184), OPS (.510), and wOBA (.233) against left-handed pitchers this month.

Also Consider: Zack Wheeler vs. MIA (FD only), Jack Flaherty at LAA

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - 1B/3B, TOR vs. Carlos Rodon ($4.5K DK; $3.2K FD)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s hot-hitting streak couldn't have come at a better time. With the trade deadline right around the corner and the Blue Jays looking like sellers, the team could be looking at a considerable haul if they put their first baseman on the market. Over the last 10 games, Vladdy Jr. has a .349/.364/.628 slash line with 16 combined runs and RBI, three doubles, three home runs, and a steal, averaging 13.82 FanDuel PPG.

Alec Bohm - 1B/3B, PHI vs. Trevor Rogers ($3.3K FD) - FanDuel only

At third base on FanDuel, only two players are above Vladimir Guerrero Jr. One is Jose Ramirez (duh!), and the other is Alec Bohm. The Phillies infielder is having a breakout season and has an incredibly high ceiling any night of the week. The right-handed hitter has at least 20 FanDuel points in three of his last nine games and averages 15.57 FanDuel PPG in his previous 10 contests.

Daniel Schneemann - 2B/3B/SS/OF, CLE at Michael Wacha ($3.1K DK; $2.6K FD)

First off, Daniel Schneemann's positional flexibility on FanDuel makes him a tremendous salary-saving option on tonight's six-game slate. Second, he's doing pretty well when he gets some playing time. In his last 10 games, the 27-year-old has a .768 OPS with five runs, five RBI, four extra-base hits, and a steal, averaging 7.4 DK PPG. It's not as spectacular as the higher-salaried players, but there's certainly a place for a low-cost bat with medium-priced production in your DFS lineup.

Also consider: Bryce Harper, Adley Rutschman (FD only), Jonathan India, Jordan Westburg (FD only), Zach Neto

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Steven Kwan - OF, CLE at Michael Wacha ($5.5K DK; $3.9K FD)

Steven Kwan slots in as the best of the rest at outfield after Aaron Judge and Juan Soto. After returning from a hamstring injury that cost him most of May, the Guardians outfielder is lighting up the charts in June. Kwan's .498 wOBA is third among 174 qualified hitters in June, trailing only Judge and Bryce Harper. Since June 16, the 26-year-old owns a .996 OPS with nine runs, eight RBI, and six extra-base hits (three home runs), averaging 11.2 DraftKings PPG.

Anthony Santander - OF, BAL vs. Jon Gray ($3.6K FD) - FanDuel only

June has been very kind to Anthony Santander, and hopefully, it will turn into a launching pad for a tremendous second half of the season. In 24 games this month, the switch-hitting outfielder has a .997 OPS with 17 runs, 24 RBI, and 12 home runs. Over the first 51 games of his season, Santander had only accumulated 27 runs, 29 RBI, and nine home runs with a .712 OPS.

Alec Burleson - OF/1B, STL vs. Ben Lively ($3.9K DK; $2.9K FD)

I'll try not to take this personally, but Alec Burleson has five multi-hit efforts in his last six games, but the only time he didn't get there was when he was recommended in Tuesday's picks. The St. Louis outfielder has a chance at DFS redemption on Thursday versus Ben Lively. Over the last 10 games, Burleson averaged 13.4 DK PPG, nearly double his season-long 7.0 mark. An uptick in counting numbers (23 combined runs and RBI), plus a power surge (six extra-base hits) is the cause for this rise in performance, and his .516 wOBA since June 16 is 14th-best among 191 qualified hitters.

Also consider: Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Kyle Schwarber (FD only), Wyatt Langford (FD only), Brendan Donovan
