MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (5/28/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Freddy Peralta - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Free daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings, FanDuel. Use Euan's MLB DFS expert picks to build winning DFS lineups on May 28, 2024.

Happy Tuesday, RotoBallers! We've got an action-packed evening of baseball ahead of us. Not every game is available on the featured slate, but 10 is more than enough to fill our DFS lineups. If you initially thought there would be 11 games on the slate, you weren't wrong. Unfortunately, the Dodgers-Mets game was postponed yesterday and will be made up today. As a result, the second game of the double-header will not be included in today's contests.

Philadelphia has the most wins in baseball (38) and touts one of the best offenses in the game. Over the last month, the Phillies sit inside the top five for OPS (.772), wOBA (.339), and wRC+ (106) against right-handed pitching. They face Spencer Howard, a righty, in San Francisco today, and DFS managers should prioritize getting as many Phillies as possible in their lineup.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/28/2024 and the slate locking at 7:20 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Freddy Peralta - RHP, MIL vs. Cubs ($10.5K DraftKings; $10.0K FanDuel)

Chasing strikeouts is a strong way to determine your starting pitcher options in DFS. Freddy Peralta has the talent and the matchup to produce a significant number of Ks on Tuesday. The Brewers righty has a 30.9 percent strikeout rate (highest on the slate) and meets a Cubs lineup with the fourth-highest strikeout rate (25.4 percent) to right-handed pitchers over the last month. Peralta has ups and downs, but he's the strongest strikeout option on the slate, and Chicago's offense is in a slump versus RHPs.

Kevin Gausman - RHP, TOR at White Sox ($8.5K DK; $10.2K FD)

Through 10 starts, Kevin Gausman has struggled to a 4.47 ERA and 1.43 WHIP. However, there is hope for the two-time All-Star on Tuesday's slate. First, he's pitching far better on the road (16.6 DK PPG) than at home (10.7 DK PPG). And second, two of his strongest starts came in recent outings at Washington and Detroit. Chicago falls in that same bucket of struggling offenses. Since April 28, the White Sox are 28th in wOBA versus RHPs.

Also Consider: Zack Wheeler at SF, Cole Ragans at MIN, Max Fried vs. WSH, Jesus Luzardo at SD

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Bryce Harper - 1B, PHI at Spencer Howard ($6.0K DK; $3.9K FD)

The consistent greatness of Bryce Harper can fly under the radar at times, but he's a fantastic cornerstone to build around in DFS. On the year, the two-time MVP is slashing .266/.374/.527 with 32 runs, 41 RBI, 13 home runs, and three steals through 50 games. Over the last 10 games, the 31-year-old is beginning to find his power groove, where he's smashed five of his 22 extra-base hits.

Donovan Solano - 1B/2B/3B , SD vs. Jesus Luzardo ($2.6K DK; $2.2K FD)

When San Diego faces left-handed starters, Donovan Solano is finding his way into the lineup. In seven of the last eight games versus a Southpaw, the Padres infielder has hit sixth in the order. It's a tiny sample size to work with (28 at-bats), but Solano is showing a good eye at the plate (.441 OBP) and just cranked his first home run of the season in last night's game. Jesus Luzardo is in scintillating form right now, but rostering Solano gives your lineup a differential on the rest of the field.

Zach Neto - SS, LAA vs. Nestor Cortes ($3.4K DK; $2.9K FD)

With Mike Trout on the IL, many folks wrote off the Angels. However, it doesn't look like Zach Neto received that message because he is tearing the cover off the ball in recent games. Over the last 10 games, the Angels shortstop owns a 1.084 OPS with seven runs, five RBI, seven extra-base hits (three home runs), and a steal, averaging 9.2 DK PPG.

Also consider: Anthony Volpe, Matt Chapman, Corey Seager, Dylan Moore, Maikel Garcia

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Judge - OF, NYY at Griffin Canning ($6.1K DK; $4.6K FD)

Aaron Judge is the most expensive hitter on FanDuel but trails four other bats on DraftKings. With the form the Yankees outfielder is in, it feels like a considerable discount.  In May, Judge leads baseball in home runs (11), SLG (.938), and wOBA (.580). Angels righty Griffin Canning has allowed a home run in three of his previous four starts and has to navigate this blisteringly hot Yankees lineup on Tuesday.

David Fry - C/1B/OF, CLE at Ryan Feltner ($5.0K DK; $3.7K FD)

David Fry is what we all wanted Daulton Varsho to be in 2023. While we've had to wait a year for this Cleveland version, the positional flexibility is a bonus for DFS managers. Through 37 games, Fry sports a .344/.488/.591 slash line with 23 runs, 20 RBI, 11 extra-base hits (six home runs), and three steals. His price isn't in the bargain bin like earlier in the season, but DFS managers should still feel comfortable letting David Fry cook in their lineups.

Jake Meyers - OF, HOU at Luis Castillo ($3.3K DK; $2.7K FD)

Over the last two weeks, two Houston Astros outfielders are in the top seven for wOBA. One is Kyle Tucker and the other is Jake Meyers. The 27-year-old doesn't have his teammate's ceiling or track record, but Meyers' 1.130 OPS over the last 10 games puts him in the running for DFS selection. Houston faces Luis Castillo on Tuesday and could see some free passes coming their way. The Mariners RHP has conceded at least three walks in three of his last four starts, and you don't want runners on base against this lineup.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Cleveland Guardians at Ryan Feltner - RHP, COL

Favorite Plays: Jose Ramirez, Josh Naylor, David Fry

2. Atlanta Braves vs. Jake Irvin - RHP, WSH

Favorite Plays: Austin Riley, Matt Olson, Marcell Ozuna

3.  New York Yankees at Griffin Canning - RHP, LAA

Favorite Plays: Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Anthony Volpe
