Jordan Addison fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 8 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Addison for your fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in all 3-WR formats and deeper leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Mid-range WR3
ANALYSIS: Jordan Addison missed Weeks 2 and 3 after suffering an ankle injury and has only appeared in four games this year since the Vikings had a Week 6 bye. Nonetheless, this offense has been exceeding expectations and looks favorable for fantasy the rest of the way.
Addison has seed targets of four, four, eight, and four in his four games this year but could be headed for more favorable outcomes. The Vikings square off against a depleted Los Angeles Rams defense in Week 8 on Thursday Night Football.
While star wide receiver Justin Jefferson is the team's clear No. 1 option, Addison is also seeing no double teams and hasn't had any trouble getting open. If you were recently affected by the rash of wide receiver injuries, Addison can be started in Week 8.
Jordan Addison hit a top speed of 21.8 MPH on this 51-yard reception, per Next Gen Stats.

It's still fair to question Addison's upside once tight end T.J. Hockenson returns and starts playing, which could put Addison as the No. 3 option in the pecking order. But for now, there are plenty of reasons for optimism.
