Players to Target in Trades for Fantasy Football

WR Nico Collins, Houston Texans

Collins hasn't gotten off to the best of starts this season. He is averaging just 14 PPR fantasy points per game and has finished outside the top-28 at the WR position in three of his five games. However, now is the perfect time to trade for Collins while he is on a bye because better days are ahead for the 26-year-old playmaker.

For starters, Collins is still seeing the majority of targets in this Houston offense. His 24.8% target share ranks 19th among all WRs through the first five weeks. He also ranks 16th among all WRs in air yards market share (38.5%), which means he is accounting for a ton of the team's downfield throws. That's why you should be trading for the Texans WR in fantasy.

Collins comes in as the 12th-best player on our trade value chart above.

TE George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

It might not be easy to trade for Kittle in fantasy, but managers should at least try to acquire one of the best TEs in football before he comes back. Although Kittle has been out for the past few weeks due to a hamstring injury he suffered back in Week 1, he is trending toward returning next week in Week 7 against the Falcons.

Don't forget, Kittle was the TE1 in fantasy points per game last week and got off to a great start in 2025. He had four catches for 25 yards and one touchdown across 21 snaps before going down with that hamstring injury. That makes him one of the best fantasy trade targets right now, especially since he is a top-3 TE rest of season.

Kittle is ranked top-50 on our trade value chart above.

WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers

McMillan has shown some nice things in his first five games in the NFL. He is averaging 70.2 receiving yards per game and is coming off a six-catch, 73-yard performance in Week 5. However, McMillan hasn't necessarily been a consistent fantasy WR option so far. The rookie has yet to finish as a top-20 WR in any game this year.

Week 6, though, might be the week that he finally does. McMillan will be going up against a Cowboys secondary that ranks 32nd in fantasy points allowed, 32nd in receiving yards allowed, and 31st in receiving touchdowns allowed to opposing WRs this year. So, this might be the last week that managers will be able to get the rookie WR for this cheap in fantasy.

McMillan is ranked 33rd on our trade value chart above.

Other Players to Target in Trades

Players to Trade Away for Fantasy Football

WR Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans

Calvin Ridley had his best game of the season last week against the Arizona Cardinals. He caught five passes for a season-high 131 yards en route to a WR14 finish in PPR formats. That strong fantasy performance could give fantasy managers confidence in him moving forward. Instead of believing in him, though, it's time to use this solid game and trade him away.

The Titans' offense has been abysmal through the first five weeks, and that will make Ridley an inconsistent fantasy option for the entire year. On top of that, he only has a 22.7% target share while averaging 6.8 targets per game on what will continue to be a bottom offense in the NFL. So, trade him away now.

Ridley is ranked 90th on our trade value chart.

RB Jordan Mason, Minnesota Vikings

Jordan Mason has shown some nice things as Minnesota's lead back this year. He has finished as a top-24 running back in two of the past three games and just ran 23 routes out of the backfield in last week's win over the Browns. Nevertheless, this might be the best time to sell Mason.

The Vikings are on a bye this week, and Aaron Jones Sr. (hamstring) is targeting a return for Week 8. While Mason has proved to be a better runner than Jones this season, the latter will be involved in plenty of ways in this offense once he returns. Therefore, see what you can get for the Vikings RB heading into Week 6.

Mason is ranked 79th on our trade value chart above.
