DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (6/18/17): MLB DFS Advice

This Sunday has a full slate of games, so it's time to build some lineups. With several different contests being offered on DraftKings, you'll have lots of different lineup options. For our purposes, the following picks have been made for contests running all day.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/18/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Texas Rangers vs. Christian Bergman (RHP)

Mariners starter Christian Bergman is a pitcher to consider stacking against on Sunday, as he faces the Rangers in Texas. The Rangers play in a great hitters' ballpark, and are going to have the opportunity to tee off on Bergman, owner of a 5.75 ERA. Bergman got obliterated his last time out against the Twins, giving up nine earned runs. It wasn't even the worst start he's had all year, after giving up ten runs in a start last month. Clearly, Bergman is prone to blow-up outings, and fantasy owners can take advantage of this by filling their lineups with Rangers bats. Rougned Odor is a fantastic value play, while Shin-Soo Choo and Nomar Mazara are mid-tier guys to roll with. Any combination of Rangers bats should work out well.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Bronson Arroyo (RHP)

Bronson Arroyo has got to be the worst regular starting pitcher in the majors right now, as the 40-year-old has a 7.01 ERA for the Reds. Arroyo gave up nine earned runs to the Padres in his last outing, and they're one of the worst lineups in the league. The Dodgers lineup is loaded with talent, and can put a real beating down on Arroyo. Cody Bellinger and Corey Seager are elite options that are worth the price tag. You can also go with lower priced options like Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson, and Chris Taylor. Any batter in the Dodgers lineup on Sunday is a strong play.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

J.C. Ramirez, LAA vs. KC - $6,600

Angels starter J.C. Ramirez has had an up-and-down season, but with his matchup on Sunday it will be tough for him to have anything but a strong start. The Royals are 25th in the league in wOBA against right-handers at .304, so Ramirez should have no trouble putting up some quality innings. He's coming off a start against one of the best lineups in baseball, the Yankees, where he allowed just two earned runs in 6 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts. At such a cheap price, it's hard to ignore Ramirez.

Jimmy Nelson, MIL vs. SD - $7,900

If there's one guy who is quietely having an outstanding bounceback season, it's Brewers starter Jimmy Nelson. Nelson 's got a 3.67 ERA with a 23.4% K-rate and a 5.9% walk-rate. These are massive improvements over his career norms, and his 3.27 FIP suggests that he's actually been a bit unlucky. Nelson has been killing it this year, and gets a dream of a matchup in the Padres on Sunday. The Pads have a .298 wOBA against righties this season, putting them at second-to-last in all of baseball.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Yadier Molina, STL @ BAL  - $3,200

Yadier Molina certainly isn't an exciting option at catcher, but he should have a great day in the Cardinals lineup on Sunday. Molina faces Ubaldo Jimenez, owner of a 6.71 ERA, in Baltimore, which is an outstanding hitters' park. Ubaldo was even worse before being moved to the bullpen, with a 7.17 ERA as a starter. The Cardinals are going to run up the score on him, so getting Molina and another Cardinal or two into your lineup is setting yourself up for success.

First Base (1B)

Matt Adams, ATL vs. MIA - $4,100

Matt Adams has been tearing up the ball in the last 15 days, putting up a .322 batting average with a 1.049 OPS and six homers. Adams is in a great spot for RBIs batting fifth in the Braves lineup and is worth playing almost any time he's at home, as Atlanta's new ballpark has been one of the best offensive environments in the league since opening. Adams is at a pretty low price compared to the rest of the field of first basemen, and he can easily outproduce what he's priced at.

Second Base (2B)

Eric Sogard, MIL vs. SD - $3,800

Now that he's the Brewers leadoff hitter, Eric Sogard is worth some legitimate consideration in daily fantasy. Sogard is batting .300 in the last 15 days, so he's doing his job of getting on base for the Brewers hitters behind him to knock him in. Sogard is in line for lots of runs on Sunday at home against Luis Perdomo, who has a 5.16 ERA. Milwaukee is one of the best places in the league to hit, so Sogard could rack up lots of fantasy points.

Shortstop (SS)

Brandon Crawford, SF @ COL - $3,800

It's not usually worth talking about Coors bats, as hitters at Coors Field are always priced much higher on DraftKings, because of the insane offensive environment that the Rockies stadium provides. However, Brandon Crawford is still quite cheap for the production that he could provide at Coors, so he's absolutely worth a look on Sunday. Crawford is slumping hard, but there's no better place to fix that than the thin air in Colorado.

Third Base (3B)

Evan Longoria, TB @ DET  - $3,700

Evan Longoria hasn't had quite the season that his fantasy owners had expected, but Longo is still a nice value play on Sunday against Buck Farmer (never spoonerize!). Farmer gave up six earned his last time out, which means that Tampa Bay could put a smack down of their own on him. In that case, you want Longoria in your lineups for lots of points from runs, RBIs, and extra-base hits.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Kevin Pillar, TOR vs. CHW - $3,500

As the Blue Jays leadoff man, Kevin Pillar is a great hitter to consider on Sunday against James Shields. It's tough to forget just how bad Shields was last season, and he's now back in action, coming off of the disabled list for his start on Sunday. Hitting atop the Jays lineup, at home in their bandbox of a park, is a recipe for fantasy success.

Gregory Polanco, PIT vs. CHI - $2,600

Gregory Polanco is a fantastic buy-low option against John Lackey on Sunday. Polanco snapped out of his slump on Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a homer, but his price on DraftKings still hasn't adjusted accordingly. Take advantage of this as he faces Lackey, who has a 5.26 ERA. Polanco is a talented young hitter who shouldn't be overlooked.

Mark Trumbo, BAL vs. STL - $3,700

Cardinals starter Lance Lynn is a savvy contrarian target on Sunday, as his 2.69 ERA makes him appear to be somebody you would want to stay away from. However, his 4.75 FIP suggests that he's been incredibly lucky this year, as he's riding on an insanely low .207 BABIP. Mark Trumbo is a cheap Orioles outfielder who can cash in on Lynn's regression in a great hitters' park.
