DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (4/26/17): MLB DFS Advice

DraftKings has two slates today, but the early slate is made up of only three games. We're going to be focusing on the much larger slate tonight in this article. There is a great combination of elite options to go along with some mid-priced players and salary relief guys.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/26/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel and Yahoo DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

St. Louis Cardinals vs Mat Latos

Latos has been struggling for years, and he was rocked by the Angels in his only start of the season. He gets a more difficult matchup against the Cardinals tonight, and St. Louis is a -173 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. They have a high upside offense, and they are a team that can be stacked in all leagues because of the matchup.

Baltimore Orioles vs Alex Cobb

Cobb has struggled to keep the ball in the park during his career, and he has given up at least one home run in every game this season. The Orioles are fifth in the MLB in home runs and seventh in slugging percentage. They are a powerful offense that should be able to take advantage of Cobb's terrible HR/9. They are also -139 favorites in a game set at 8 runs, and they can be used in all leagues.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Alex Wood - at SF, $7,400

Wood is in an interesting spot tonight. He's averaging only 52.3 pitches per game this season, but he displayed the ability to pitch deeper into games throughout his career. He comes with a low price tag and good strikeout rate. He also gets a great matchup against the Giants, and Wood is a -118 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs. He's a pitcher that should only be used in GPPs because of his inconsistent pitch count, though.

UPDATE: Robert Gsellman is starting instead of Noah Syndergaard tonight.

Noah Syndergaard - vs ATL, $12,600

Syndergaard has been enjoying a great season, as he enters this game with a 1.73 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 10.4 K/9 through his first four starts. He gets a great matchup against the Braves, who he held scoreless over six innings earlier this season. His pitch count has been wildly inconsistent thus far, which is a bit concerning, but he has double digit strikeout potential and is a -196 favorite in a game set at 6.5 runs. The Braves have the lowest team total on the slate, and Syndergaard can be used in all leagues.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

James McCann - vs DET, $2,700

McCann has struggled to hit for a high average this season, but 66% of his hits have been home runs. He's an extremely powerful catcher, and he gets a decent matchup against James Paxton tonight. McCann has an elite 0.158 wOBA and 0.253 ISO differential against left-handed pitching this season. He isn't safe enough to be used in cash games, but he's an elite salary relief option in GPPs.

First Base (1B)

Matt Carpenter - vs TOR, $4,100

Carpenter hasn't been an elite fantasy option this season, but he's an must start in a Cardinals stack. He's extremely consistent, but he also possesses good upside. He gets a great matchup against Latos, and Carpenter is hitting in an extremely favorable spot in the St. Louis lineup.

Second Base (2B)

Jedd Gyorko - vs TOR, $3,400

Gyorko has been one of the hottest hitters in the MLB recently, as he's hitting over .350 with great power over his last 10 games. He has been a much better hitter against right-handed pitching this season, and he has flashed tremendous power, especially for his price. He gets a great matchup against Latos, and Gyorko is a great option in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Taylor Motter - at DET, $3,000

Motter's price tag is a bit surprising tonight. He'll draw less starts with Jean Segura finally healthy, but Motter could draw the start at a different position against the lefty tonight. Motter has displayed tremendous power for his position, and he has also been a fairly consistent option. He can be used in all leagues as a salary relief option, but make sure he's in the starting lineup beforehand.

Third Base (3B)

Jake Lamb - vs SD, 3,900

Lamb has been playing extremely well at home this season, as he's averaging more than 10 fantasy points per game in Arizona. He gets a great matchup against Cahill tonight, and Lamb brings an impressive 0.102 wOBA and .0129 ISO differential against right-handed pitching this season. Lamb makes an elite option.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Trey Mancini - vs TB, 3,300

Mancini isn't the most consistent player on the slate, but he comes with tremendous power and gets a matchup against a pitcher that struggles with home runs. Mancini also enters the game with a 0.111 wOBA and 0.282 ISO differential against right-handed pitching this season. He's expected to hit in a favorable spot in the Orioles offense, and he's a high upside GPP option.

Aaron Judge - at BOS, $3,900

Judge has looked outstanding early this season, as he's hitting for a .289 average with six extra-base hits and nine RBIs over his last 10 games. Four of those six extra-base hits were for home runs, as well. He has displayed a great combination of consistency and upside, and he gets a matchup against Porcello in a hitter friendly stadium. Judge is a great option in all leagues.

DFS Hitters to Avoid on DraftKings

Yoenis Cespedes - vs ATL, $4,000

Cespedes was announced in the starting lineup last night before the game was postponed. He told the media that it does not mean he is going to start, though. That means he is likely still dealing with his most recent injury, and he's a player that is too expensive to be used when injured. Furthermore, he enters a game with a -0.121 wOBA and -0.145 ISO differential against right-handed pitcher. He can be avoided in all leagues tonight.
