Recent Update

4/24:Fear not, fantasy owners of Yoenis Cespedes. Thankfully, the hamstring “shock” that Cespedes felt last week truly seems to be the minor one he described it as being. Mets manager Terry Collins told the media on Sunday night that Cespedes informed him he’ll be ready for Tuesday. The sore left hamstring kept Cespedes on the shelf during the important weekend series against the Nationals, a series the Mets were swept in in their own building. However, he was available to pinch hit, and was even in the on-deck circle when Jose Reyes made the final out of the game. It’s not a 100% certainty he’ll be in the lineup on Tuesday until we see him out there of course, but it does sound as though it’s likely. You should feel comfortable leaving him in your lineup for weekly leagues.--Andrew Bua - RotoBaller
