Daily NBA Prop Bets - Top Player Props, Value Picks and Quick Odds (12/22/25)

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Keith Eyster's top NBA prop bets for 12/22/25: expert player-prop picks, value plays, quick model edges and line-shopping tips for today’s slate. Check odds & get the edge.

Welcome back to another edition of RotoBaller's NBA Props! We have an exciting seven-game slate on tap this evening that is absolutely loaded with star power. Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Cade Cunningham are just some of the stars who will be in action.

We have some key injury news to monitor as well when considering our prop bets, with impactful names like Jaylen Brown, Lauri Markkanen, and Cooper Flagg on the injury report.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Monday, December 22nd. Prop picks can range from individual stats—points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive stats —to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Let's get to the picks already. I loaded it up for tonight!

Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets & Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Keyonte George over 35.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120 FanDuel), (-122 NOVIG)

Jazz point guard Keyonte George is enjoying a breakout season in which he is posting career-highs across the board. Now in his third season, George is averaging 24.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game. He has topped 35 PRA in four straight games, clearing the line on points alone in two of those games.

In both of the games in which he had more than 35 points, Lauri Markkanen was active. The star forward has missed each of the last two games and is listed as questionable on Monday. Historically, this season, George has seen an increase in usage but a decline in assist rate when Markkanen is off the floor. Taking his combo line protects us against that news and allows us to get into this great spot before the sportsbooks have a chance to adjust.

Tonight's matchup sets up well for George to continue his breakout season. The game features a massive 246.5-point total, with two of the league's worst defenses over the last month squaring off. On the season, Denver ranks 17th in defensive efficiency. However, in the last month, since Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun have been injured, Denver ranks just 27th.

George is in an excellent offensive environment tonight and should continue his breakout season, while combining for at least 36 points, rebounds, and assists.

Stephen Curry over 28.5 Points (-115 Bet365), (-138 NOVIG)

Curry has enjoyed a bit of a resurgence in his 17th NBA season. He's increased his scoring average by more than four points over last season to 28.8, and he's posted his best field goal percentage in the last three seasons. The star point guard has fallen short of this line in his last two games, although he missed by just one point last game, and he also cleared it with ease in four of five games before that.

Tonight's matchup looks difficult on paper, as the Magic rank 10th in defensive efficiency and they have allowed the third-fewest threes in the league. However, they are expected to be without two key contributors this evening. Franz Wagner remains out, and Jalen Suggs is listed as doubtful to play. Suggs is a particularly active perimeter defender, and the Magic certainly feel his absence when he is not on the court. With the Suggs on the court, Orlando owns a 110.2 defensive rating, which would rank 3rd-best in the league. However, when Suggs is off the floor this season, Orlando has posted a 117.0 defensive rating, which would rank just 23rd.

In addition to the absence of two key perimeter defenders, the Magic have also been susceptible to point guards all season long, and they have allowed the most points in the league to the position. Curry should be able to continue his strong season and cruise over 28.5 points.

Anthony Davis over 36.5 Points + Rebounds (-112 DraftKings), (-120 NOVIG)

Anthony Davis has played at least 30 minutes in four straight games and looks to be fully recovered from the calf injury that has limited him for much of the season. In those four games, Davis has averaged 23.0 points and 12.3 rebounds, clearing 36 PR in three of those contests. Before his calf injury, AD played four healthy games and averaged 25.0 points and 11.8 rebounds, clearing 36.5 PR in two of the four contests.

He has played irregular minutes across multiple games in between his two most healthy stretches this season. That is notable because he gets an elite matchup against New Orleans and is the healthiest he has been since the very beginning of the season. New Orleans ranks 28th in defensive efficiency, and they have allowed the seventh-most rebounds in the league.

In addition to health and matchup being on his side, Cooper Flagg is also listed as questionable on the injury report. If the star rookie is unable to play, Davis would be required to take on an even larger role, both offensively and on the glass.

With Davis averaging 33.5 minutes per game over his last four contests, he is in a prime position to clear 36.5 points and rebounds.

How Does Novig Work?

Since users are not playing against the books, there is an opportunity to make more money per wager that you win, and users can usually find better values on bets (in terms of the prices being offered) than on traditional sportsbooks.

There are no oddsmakers; users dictate their own odds. You can either accept the odds that the market is offering or set your own odds.

If you set your own odds, another user has to accept them on the other side for the bet to be activated.

For example, if you set the odds of Jaylen Brown to go over 29.5 points at -110, then anyone can flip the bet and take the under on his points prop at +110.

Users drive the market, not the sportsbook or oddsmakers!

Top Value Props & Sleeper Picks

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies on the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Wendell Carter Jr. over 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-115 Bet365), (-129 NOVIG)

Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. has taken on a much larger role in the offense since Franz Wagner went down with an injury. Over his past four games, Carter has averaged 17.0 points and 8.3 rebounds. In addition to Wagner being ruled out again, the Magic have also listed Jalen Suggs as doubtful for this game, which should boost Carter's offensive role even further.

The matchup might appear difficult on paper, as the Warriors rank third in defensive efficiency. However, they have been quite susceptible to centers, ranking just 20th in points allowed and surrendering the sixth-most rebounds to the position.

WCJ should continue to play 30+ minutes and shoulder a large offensive workload for the short-handed Magic.

Quinten Post over 13.5 Points + Rebounds (-102 DraftKings)

Warriors big man Quentin Post has taken on a much larger role recently. Since moving back into the starting lineup six games ago, Post is averaging 27.2 minutes, 12.3 points, and 5.8 rebounds per game. He has cleared 13.5 points and rebounds in five out of six starts, finishing with 11 PR in his most recent game. Al Horford remains sidelined with an injury, which means Post should maintain his starting role and play 25+ minutes again.

The matchup against the Magic is not ideal, but Post is simply playing a larger role than this line suggests. Expect him to get back on track tonight and clear 13.5 points and rebounds.
