Zach has been covering fantasy sports across multiple platforms and websites since 2008, and he's been playing fantasy sports since the late 90s, when he totaled the fantasy scores from the box scores in the newspaper. He has covered a variety of sports from a fantasy perspective, including the main ones like baseball, basketball, golf, football, and hockey, while also jumping into some more exotic options like Australian Rules Football and rugby. Basically, any sport that has a fantasy format--he'll play it! Even though he grew up almost 8,000 miles away in Guam, he was raised a diehard Boston sports fan. After playing soccer competitively throughout high school and college, Zach now lives in central Massachusetts with his wife and four children. He attends as many games in as many sports as possible and has found a passion for watching minor league baseball and tracking player development. Zach specializes in finding bargain plays from obscure spots, and nothing is sweeter than when a low ownership bargain option carries your fantasy team to the win!

Tristan da Silva Could Return Tuesday

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) has missed the last three games with a shoulder contusion, but he was listed as questionable for Tuesday night's game against the Trail Blazers. He is averaging 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 23 minutes per game in his 26 games this season, and he stepped into […]

Jalen Suggs Ruled Out Tuesday

Orlando Magic point guard Jalen Suggs (hip) has been ruled out for a fourth straight game as the Magic visit the Blazers for the second game of their back-to-back. Suggs has been out since Dec. 13 with a left hip contusion. While he has been sidelined, Anthony Black and Paolo Banchero have been carrying more […]

Austin Reaves Is Available Against the Suns

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves (calf) missed the last three games with a left-calf strain, but he will be able to return to action on Tuesday against the Suns. His return is well-timed since Luka Doncic (leg) has been ruled out for the contest, giving Reaves a massive role if he's ready to pick […]

Malik Monk Available on the Trade Market

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk has been made available ahead of the trade deadline, according to the latest reports from Chris B Haynes of NBA on Prime. Monk has fallen out of the rotation for the Kings as they try to go younger in the backcourt, but he still would be an interesting addition to […]

Sam Darnold Can Be a Deep-League Streamer Despite Bad Matchup

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold led his team to a big win last Thursday against the Rams, throwing for 270 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He's had a few down games lately, but has also thrown for at least 249 yards in three straight games. When the touchdowns are there, he's typically a […]

Can J.J. McCarthy Be a Streaming Option Against the Lions?

Minnesota Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy (hand) missed practice on Monday after having to leave last week's game at halftime with a hand injury. The Vikings have a favorable matchup this week and a chance to play spoiler against the Lions, but McCarthy will need to overcome his injury to be a viable option. He was […]

Gardner Minshew Avoids ACL Tear

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Gardner Minshew (knee) got good news from an MRI on his injured knee, as his ACL was not torn as initially feared. He's still out for the rest of the season on IR, but his recovery will be quicker since it's a "non-displaced tibial plateau fracture," which is basically a severe […]

Trevor Lawrence Is a Top Addition if Available

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is on a heater as the Jaguars push to the playoffs, and he makes a good start in almost all formats this week. He's still available in about one-third of leagues despite his recent success, and he has a favorable matchup in Week 17 against the Colts, who were just […]

Isiah Pacheco Back in the Lead in the Chiefs' Backfield

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco took back over as the lead back for the Chiefs this week, stepping in ahead of veteran Kareem Hunt and taking eight carries for 34 yards while adding six catches for 41 yards in the team's loss to the Titans last week. Pacheco could be in for a […]

Jacoby Brissett Can Be a Streaming Option in Week 17

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett had a rough week against the Falcons in Week 16, but he should be poised to bounce back in a big way against the Bengals in Week 17. Brissett has thrown multiple touchdowns in eight of his previous nine games, but he only threw for one score and a season-low […]

Davante Adams - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

When Will Davante Adams Return and Be Back? Fantasy Football Injury Update for Week 17 (2025)

The Rams offense has been one of the best in the NFL this season, with Matthew Stafford leading a strong passing game that has propelled the team to an 11-4 record and a playoff spot. The passing game was already effective, but was buoyed even more by the addition of Davante Adams this past offseason. […]

Emanuel Wilson Could Be Key to Winning Week 17

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson could be a top waiver wire priority this week, as the Packers get ready to host the Ravens on Saturday. The team could be without Jordan Love (concussion) and Josh Jacobs (knee) for that matchup, and Wilson has proven he can be a fantasy factor if he takes […]

Michael Carter Can Be a Solid Streamer

Arizona Cardinals running back Michael Carter filled in as the starter in Week 16 for the team's banged-up backfield, and he had a solid game against the Falcons. He took 11 carries for 65 yards but failed to catch either of his two targets or get into the end zone. Carter played well ahead of […]

Chris Rodriguez Jr. Looks to Lead Commanders Backfield

Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. seems to have secured the top spot in the backfield coming down the stretch, and he should be fantasy relevant in the closing weeks of the season. He makes a solid waiver wire add if you need a running back after picking up 63 rushing yards and a […]

John FitzPatrick Will Miss the Rest of the Season

Green Bay Packers tight end John FitzPatrick (Achilles) was helping to fill in for the injured Tucker Kraft, but he suffered his own season-ending injury during Saturday's 22-16 overtime loss to the Chicago Bears. Tests confirmed that FitzPatrick suffered a torn Achilles, which will end his season after 12 catches for 72 yards and a […]

Lamar Jackson's Status Is "Up in the Air"

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (back) is considered day-to-day after sustaining a back bruise in the second quarter of Sunday night's loss to the Patriots. He took a knee to the back from Craig Woodson on a run in the second quarter and was unable to return. He said he hopes to play on Saturday […]

Pat Bryant Released from Hospital; Diagnosed with a Concussion

Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant was released from the hospital after suffering a scary injury when he took a massive hit over the middle in the final minute of Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. He had to be stretchered off the field and taken to a hospital for further evaluation. Although he was diagnosed […]

Jawhar Jordan Contributes to Another Texans' Victory

Houston Texans running back Jawhar Jordan broke through with a huge NFL debut last week, and he built on that performance in Week 16 against the Raiders. Jordan was the primary back for Houston with Woody Marks (ankle) out, getting 20 touches compared to just seven for veteran Nick Chubb. Jordan racked up 53 rushing […]

Nico Collins Relatively Quiet in Texans' Narrow Win

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins only had four catches for 59 yards on Sunday against the Raiders, but his team did just enough to still pull out a 23-21 win to extend their winning streak to seven games. Collins was targeted a team-high nine times by C.J. Stroud and drew two key pass interference […]

Nick Chubb Remains in Limited Role

Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb (ribs) was able to play through his questionable tag on Sunday, but his fellow running back Woody Marks (ankle) was ruled out. Even without Marks, though, Chubb's workload was limited as Jawhar Jordan led the way with 15 carries for 53 yards, while Chubb had six carries for 33 […]

Dalton Schultz Scores Texans Lone Offensive Touchdown

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz caught all five of his targets on Sunday against the Raiders, racking up 35 yards and a touchdown in his team's narrow, 23-21 victory. Schultz's touchdown came on a one-yard pass from C.J. Stroud midway through the fourth quarter and was the only offensive score of the day from […]

Jaylen Wright Scores Late Touchdown

Miami Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright scored his second touchdown of the season in the last five minutes of the team's 42-21 loss to the Bengals. After breaking out with a monster game in Week 14 against the Jets, he only had one carry and one target last week against the Steelers, but he was […]

Darren Waller Remains Involved for Miami

Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller didn't find the end zone in Week 16 against the Bengals, but he did still haul in three catches for 40 yards and rank second on the team in targets with five passes thrown his way. Rookie QB Quinn Ewers started and threw for 260 yards and no touchdowns […]

Malik Washington Only has One Catch but Scores a Touchdown

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Malik Washington was only targeted once in the Dolphins' loss to the Bengals on Sunday, but he had a decent fantasy day since he caught that target for 23 yards and added a nine-yard touchdown play in the first half. The second-year receiver out of Virginia has only had a single […]

Quinn Ewers Starts Strong but Fades

Miami Dolphins quarterback Quinn Ewers finished with 260 passing yards, two interceptions, and no touchdowns in his first NFL start on Sunday against the Bengals. The seventh-round pick out of Texas started strong, completing 10 of 12 passes in the first half and leading two scoring drives in the first half. In the second half, […]

Ka'imi Fairbairn Remains an Elite Play In Week 16

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn is in a great spot at home against the Raiders, and he's a great option for your fantasy lineups this week. He went 4-for-5 on field-goal attempts last week and made all four of his extra-point attempts. He's 33-for-37 on field goals for the season with all four of his […]

Houston Texans D/ST Is an Elite Play Against the Raiders

The Houston Texans defense has been outstanding all season, and they're in an awesome matchup this week against the struggling Raiders. The Texans are the No. 1 DST in RotoBaller's Week 16 rankings and make a great start in all formats. Houston has forced 24 turnovers and racked up 38 sacks while holding opponents to […]

Dalton Schultz Is a Strong Start Against the Raiders

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz has emerged as a top-10 tight end this season as one of the primary options in his team's passing attack. Even though the Raiders have been good against the position this season, Schultz has been consistent enough to still be a good option for your fantasy lineups in standard-sized […]

Christian Kirk Is Not On the Fantasy Radar This Week

Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk (illness) has a questionable tag for Sunday's matchup against the Raiders after missing practice on Friday. The veteran slot receiver has been in a minimal role lately for the Texans, playing just 16 snaps on offense in Week 15 against the Cardinals and not getting a target. He only […]

Jayden Higgins Is Only a Deep League Flex Option

Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins has established himself as the team's secondary wide receiver behind Nico Collins, but he remains a very volatile play from week-to-week since the team prefers to rely on its defense and running the ball instead of airing it out. Higgins only had one catch for four yards last week […]
