Touki Toussaint Holds Reds In Check
Touki Toussaint was pitching fairly well until the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Toussaint went five innings, four hits allowed, two earned runs, three walks, and five strikeouts in the 8-6 victory. He held the Reds scoreless until a two-run home run by Joey Votto in the sixth inning. Toussaint didn't last much longer in the game, but did pitch well here. He'll take a 4.28 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 28 strikeouts over 27 1/3 innings into his next start versus the Miami Marlins. Toussaint could be a possible streaming option there against the shaky Marlins lineup.
