It's Week 10 – Christmas week is here, and it is time to solidify yourself as a top team in the league. One of the best ways to do this is to take advantage of the gems laying around on the waiver wire, while everyone else stuffs their faces and unwraps present this week. This week we've got a trio of players that have likely ended up on your wire after an owner gave up hope on them.
This year, we're tossing out our old convention of separating waiver wire posts into positions, and instead, we're separating them into of league -- standard, shallow, deep, etc. The NBA is trending to positionless basketball, so we at RotoBaller should too.
For shallow (8-10 team) league adds, we use a general rule of thumb of an ownership rate of under 65% on Yahoo. All position eligibility based on Yahoo leagues.

Shallow League Adds for Week 10
John Collins, PF/C – Atlanta Hawks

After missing the first six games of December due to a shoulder injury, John Collins is back and ready to continue his tremendous rookie season. Prior to going down with his injury, Collins had really started to step his game up as a starter for the rebuilding Hawks and was proving himself as a serious fantasy commodity, producing in every category.
Though he was getting hot before his injury, many owners dropped the young stud and he's been hovering around 50% ever since, which is ridiculous considering his potential. In his return last week he put up 15 points and grabbed seven boards in only 20 minutes of action. In his second game back he disappointed in the points column but stuffed the stat sheet with seven rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and two steals. That is some seriously sneaky value for a big man, and Collins will get every opportunity to shine this season with the Hawks. He should be owned in every league.
George Hill, PG/SG – Sacramento Kings

George Hill has had a rough go of it so far this season, but he's really picked it up lately for the lowly Kings. Chances are he hit the waiver wire sometime around the beginning of December, so if you haven't already picked him up, now is the time before it's too late, as he is producing top-70 value over the last couple of weeks.
Hill has taken on a role of mentor this season, but after coach Dave Joerger pushed for him to be more assertive on offense, he has begun to settle into his new role with the Kings. Over the last week, Hill stepped up with 16.7 PPG on .586% shooting. He also has been the primary playmaker lately, dishing 3.7 assists, drilling 3.3 three-pointers, and coming away with 1.3 steals per game. While De'Aaron Fox is obviously the future in Sacramento, Hill is who the Kings want to show him the ropes and after a bumpy introduction to the season, he seems to finally be comfortable with the situation.
Josh Richardson, PG/SG/SF – Miami Heat

Look who's back from the dead. After a horrid start to the season, Richardson has turned everything around over the past couple of weeks, and firmly placed himself back into the good graces of not only fantasy owners, but coach Erik Spoelstra as well. Spoelstra has shown his commitment to Richardson by allowing him to run the offense lately, and he seems to be happy about it the ball being in his hands.
Richardson is coming off of a career-high 28 point performance, and finally living up to the hype over his past 10 games with 15.8 PPG while adding in value all over the stat sheet. He is capable of being one of the best 3 and D guys in the league, and he is proving it over these last 10 games by hitting 2.6 triples with 2.7 boards, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. He has even taken his efficiency to new heights, shooting .551% from the floor. This is third-round value out of a guy who was left for dead only a few weeks ago, so be sure to hop on board before you miss out.
