Northwestern Names Aidan Chiles As Starting Quarterback
Northwestern has named Michigan State transfer Aidan Chiles as its starting quarterback. Chiles and West Virginia transfer Nicco Marchiol were in competition for the starting job held by Preston Stone in 2025. Chiles threw for 1,392 yards and 10 touchdowns with only three interceptions last season for the Spartans. He also ran for 227 yards and six more touchdowns. Chiles was replaced by Alessio Milivojevic last November, prompting his transfer to Evanston. Chiles is a legitimate dual-threat quarterback who made great strides last season. Paired with RB Caleb Komolafe, Northwestern's ground game is worth monitoring in fantasy leagues in 2026.
