Week 17 Kicker Rankings Outlooks
Eddy Pineiro, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers kicker Eddy Pineiro was six-for-six on extra point tries against the Colts in Week 16 and made two of his three field goal attempts. Pineiro was good from 25 and 38 yards out. His miss came on a 64-yard try at the end of the second quarter. It was his first missed field goal of 2025, making him 27-for-28 on the season.
In Week 17, the 49ers host the Chicago Bears, with whom Pineiro made his NFL debut in 2019. The meeting between the two high-octane offenses carries one of the highest expected point totals of this week's slate, which could translate to Pineiro seeing a glut of opportunities to put points on the board. Pineiro, who ranks fifth among kickers in fantasy points per game, is a good option to plug into lineups for the final week of fantasy football.
Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers should get back to his borderline double-digit ways in Week 17 against the Carolina Panthers. Myers scored just two fantasy points in Week 16 with the Seahawks relying heavily on two-point conversions as they clawed their way back into their game against the Rams. However, before Week 16, Myers had scored at least 13 fantasy points in six straight games. He has been automatic on PATs and long field goals, which have anchored his fantasy production.
Carolina boasts a solid defense, but it is nothing the Seahawks' offense cannot handle. Seattle should find itself in scoring position for most of the day. Additionally, Carolina's solid defense could force Seattle to settle for more field goals than touchdowns, further boosting Myers' value. Look for Myers to potentially deliver double-digit fantasy points in Week 17. He is a great addition to your championship lineup.
Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell converted all three of his extra-point tries and drilled two of his three field goal attempts in a Week 16 win over the Detroit Lions. His miss from 37 yards out was nearly costly, as he failed to put Pittsburgh up by eight points with just over two minutes remaining, but the Steelers were ultimately able to close out the victory with a five-point lead. Boswell will look to bounce back against the Cleveland Browns this week.
When he last faced Cleveland in Week 6, Boswell was incredibly productive for fantasy purposes in a 23-9 win. Sunday's contest carries an extremely low projected point total, which could signal limited touchdown opportunities and increased involvement for the kicker. Furthermore, Pittsburgh may not have much to play for if the Green Bay Packers defeat the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday. If the Steelers rest some starters or adopt a conservative approach, Boswell could be called upon early and often. Fantasy managers can continue to roll with the 34-year-old in Week 17.
Chad Ryland, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland is coming off his best fantasy performance of the year. The 26-year-old went four for six with a made extra point attempt during Week 16's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. When the Cardinals' offense struggled to score touchdowns, Ryland stepped up to put points on the board. Ryland was able to show off his leg, making two 50-plus-yard field goals.
Entering Week 17, Ryland and the Cardinals will face the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals' defense has struggled at times this year to stop offenses from moving the ball downfield. If the Cardinals' offense gets into a rhythm early, Ryland could find himself in field goal range quite consistently. Fantasy managers can insert Ryland into lineups as a viable streaming option in Week 17.
