Daily NBA Prop Bets - Top Player Props, Value Picks and Quick Odds (10/31/25)

Royce O'Neale - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, DFS Picks, NBA Injury News

Thunder Dan Palyo's top NBA prop bets for 10/31/25: expert player-prop picks, value plays, quick model edges and line-shopping tips for today’s slate. Check odds & get the edge.

We usually get more than eight games on a Friday night in the NBA, but that's plenty of games to choose from for our favorite NBA betting props. I don't want to toot our own horn too much (or jinx myself today), but my partner on this column, Keith Eyster, and I have a five-slate winning streak going to start the season, and I fully intend to keep that going tonight!

It's Halloween night, and I have some treats for you with six of my favorite NBA player props today. It's less of a star-studded lineup today and more focused on some lesser-known players, but we will take the value from the books wherever we can get it! It's also the first set of games in the Emirates NBA Cup, so we might see teams a little more motivated to win tonight (and perhaps a few extra minutes for starters?)

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Friday, October 31st. Prop picks can range from individual stats—points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive stats —to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed as well, but always shop around, as those odds change throughout the day as bets come in. Let's get to the picks!

Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets & Player Props

Early-season NBA player props offer bettors a prime opportunity to get ahead of oddsmakers by capitalizing on new trends, unexpected rotations, and shifts in play style from last season. With teams still settling into their identities, sharp bettors can often find mispriced lines before the markets adjust.

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Jrue Holiday over 10.5 Rebounds and Assists (-126 DK)

Holiday has been the gift that keeps on giving to start the season for prop bettors. The books badly undervalued how much of an uptick in production he would see in Portland with more regular minutes and a bigger role on an emerging young team.

Jrue has been heavily involved in the Portland offense, scoring 20+ points in three straight games. His points prop looks juicy at 16.5, but I am angling for his other stats here (boards and assists) as I view them as a bit more stable on a nightly basis.

Holiday has gone for 11 or more combined boards and assists in all five games as a Blazer. He's always been a good rebounder from the guard position throughout his career, and he clearly has the keys to this offense in terms of ball-handling and play-making as he's averaging a healthy 7.8 assists per contest.

The Blazers should be competitive against Denver tonight, and this game has a ton of appeal for props with a 239.5 total

Walker Kessler over 13.5 Points (-104 FD)

Speaking of games that ooze potential for big prop totals, we have a 237.5-point total in Phoenix where the Suns and Jazz face off. These teams combined for 272 points earlier this week in a game that went to overtime.

Utah has been playing a big lineup with Lauri Markannen at the three, Kyle Filipowski at the four, and Kessler at the five. One of the most fun developments for this group this year has been Kessler's offensive development. The big man was mainly a finisher around the hoop in his first few seasons, but he's developed a solid three-point shot, nailing five threes in his first seven attempts from behind the arc this season.

Kessler has a 17.2% usage rate through the first four games for Utah. He's been a 12-13% usage player for his first three seasons. He's averaging 17 points per game and has cleared this bar in three of four games this season, with a 3-point dud against Sacramento looking like an outlier.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker over 15.5 Points (-108 FD)

Atlanta is a team that is loaded with potential for props today, as their top passer and scorer, Trae Young, has already been ruled out for tonight's game against Indiana.

There are a lot of different directions we can go in here, but sometimes the easiest answer is the best one, right? Alexander-Walker has been playing big minutes (30 per game) for the Hawks, either off the bench or as a starter. He's cleared this 15.5 point threshold in all but one game, which was a pretty fluky bad shooting night (2-15 from the field) in the opener against Toronto.

Trae Young's 27.6% usage has to get soaked up by the remaining Hawks, and NAW was already sitting at 23.4% usage with Young in the lineup. He's even a points ladder candidate tonight as I think he could easily go for 20+ points against a Pacers team that has been decimated by injuries.

Top Value Props & Sleeper Picks

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies on the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Josh Minott over 16.5 Points and Rebounds (-108 FD)

The Celtics appear to have found their new starting power forward in Josh Minott. The former Memphis Tiger spent the first three years of his career in Minnesota, buried on the bench, but the Celtics may have struck gold in signing the 23-year-old in the offseason.

This is how I picture the rest of the league reacting to the Celtics grabbing another potential star off the scrap heap as they refuse to be bad for even one season

Minott was inserted into the starting lineup on Monday and immediately made an impact, posting 15 points and 9 boards in a Boston win over the Pelicans. He followed that up with an impressive 11-point, 15-rebound performance in a win over the Cavs on Wednesday.

So he's averaging a cool 13 points and 12 rebounds as a starter in about 30 minutes per game. His props are ridiculously low again today, and I am buying in on a fourth-year breakout from Minott. Boston badly needs some consistent contributors to put out there next to Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, and Payton Pritchard and Minott has fit perfectly alongside them so far.

Royce O'Neale over 21.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-117 DK)

If you aren't familiar with O'Neale's game, the veteran wing has quietly been one of the better "3 and D" role players in the league for years. His game is not flashy, but he's an excellent three-point shooter and floor-spacer who can also hit the glass and keep the ball moving on offense.

O'Neale is positioned well for another big outing tonight for the Suns as Jalen Green remains out (yet to play yet this season) and Dillon Brooks is set to miss his second straight game.

With both players out for the last two games, O'Neale has averaged 17.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists  - easily clearing the bar that is set for him tonight. He was exceptional against Utah in that first meeting, going 17-13-7 in a whopping 46 minutes on the floor. He's locked into big minutes and a much bigger role with the current state of the Suns roster.

Kevin Huerter over 11.5 Points (-117 DK)

Did you know that the red-headed three-point assassin is third in usage rate (19.3%) for Chicago this season despite coming off the bench? Huerter and Tre Jones have been thrust into much larger roles with the Bulls missing their top scoring guard, Coby White, for the first several weeks of the season.

Huerter is averaging 14.8 points per game and has scored 12 or more points in three of Chicago's first four games, with the one game he went under right at 11. He's shooting 40% from deep and getting up five threes per game. That's six points right there that we can bank on from the long ball, and he's shooting an impressive 80% on two-point shots as the Bulls have displayed some excellent ball movement this year to get guys open looks.
