Malachi Corley Signing With Browns
Malachi Corley is signing an undisclosed deal with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday, sources tell Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Corley chose the Browns but had multiple opportunities on the open market. Corley, 23, only made it one season with the New York Jets after they took him in the third round (65th overall) out of Western Kentucky. He played in only nine games (83 offensive snaps) with Gang Green last year and caught just three of his six targets for 16 yards. Corley will now head to the AFC North, where there is plenty of opportunity in the team's receiving room behind Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Corley will begin on Cleveland's practice squad. For now, he's just a name to monitor for receiver depth in deep fantasy leagues.
