Boston Red Sox two-way prospect Conrad Cason (elbow) announced on his social media that he underwent Tommy John surgery on Thursday. The 19-year-old has pitched in just one game this season in the Florida Complex League and appeared as a batter in two. As a hitter, Cason went 1-for-4 with a single, tallied two RBI, and struck out one. On the bump, Cason logged two no-hit innings with a 5:1 K:BB. However, the 19-year-old has been shut down since May due to arm fatigue and will now face a much longer recovery process. Cason joined Boston in the eighth round of the 2024 MLB Draft out of Greater Atlanta Christian HS. Dynasty managers should expect Cason to remain sidelined throughout the vast majority of the 2026 regular season.--Andy Smith
