Alfredo Duno Gets on Base Four Times on Wednesday
Alfredo Duno went 3-for-5 on Wednesday at Single-A Daytona, including a walk, two doubles, two RBI, and a run scored. The Reds' fifth-ranked prospect is 7-for-12 (.583) over his last four games, and is slashing .274/.415/.455 on the year with nine home runs and nearly as many walks (72) as strikeouts (78) in 89 games. The 19-year-old catapulted into MLB.com's Top 100 in their July refresh, currently sitting at 81st overall, and could continue to climb up the ranks. The young Venezuelan boasts strong exit velocities and an excellent approach that has helped him to a career .415 OBP through 166 minor league games. He should be squarely on dynasty managers' radar now and could be in the majors as early as 2027.
