Atlanta Braves pitching prospect Cam Caminiti pitched well again at Single-A Augusta on Wednesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks while striking out eight over five innings of work. The Braves' top prospect has been phenomenal over his last seven starts, posting a 1.61 ERA (2.21 FIP), 1.14 WHIP, and striking out 43 batters over 28 innings pitched. The 2024 first-rounder got a late start to the season due to forearm tendinitis, making just nine starts in all for the GreenJackets, but looks ready for a challenge at High-A. Whether that happens this year or next, Caminiti is a name to keep an eye on, as he could be a quick mover through the organization. At just 18 years old, he's still a couple of years away from the majors, but the Braves aren't shy about bringing pitches up early, and even having them go straight from Double-A to the majors, so fantasy managers shouldn't be caught off guard.--Jarod RuppRead More News
