Courtland Sutton, Broncos Agree to Contract Extension
Courtland Sutton has agreed to a four-year, $92 million contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2029 season. Sutton had been slated to become a free agent after the season, but he's staying in place after establishing a rapport with young quarterback Bo Nix in 2024. Sutton, 29, appeared in all of Denver's regular-season games last year and tallied career-high marks in catches (81) and targets (135). He also scored eight touchdowns and racked up 1,000-plus yards (1,081) for the second time in his first seven seasons in the NFL. The former second-round pick out of SMU remains atop the Denver receiver depth chart and should continue to get plenty of looks from Nix in the second year of the signal-caller's career. Sutton will enter the season as RotoBaller's 20th-ranked receiver.
