Andy's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Sunday, 7/6/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Welcome Back, RotoBallers! I hope everyone had a wonderful extended holiday weekend. To close out the week, we have another action-packed baseball slate to analyze!
On the pitching side, we have several aces taking the bump today, so it will be critical to make the correct selection. As a result, we don't have as many favorable matchups for hitters, but there are a few sneaky stacks that could be worth a look.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/6/2025, with the slate starting at 1:35 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Note - All metrics referenced are from June 15 and forward.
Kevin Gausman, TOR vs. Los Angeles Angels ($8.5K DK/$9K FD)
Since allowing seven runs on June 19, Gausman has gone on to log 13 innings to the tune of a 1.38 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and a 9:5 K:BB over his last two outings. This afternoon, the right-hander is in prime position to continue to find success, facing the Angels, who have posted the third-highest strikeout rate and 12th-lowest BABIP.
Tarik Skubal, DET at Cleveland Guardians ($12K DK/$11K FD)
When Tarik Skubal is on a slate, you have to consider him. While his price is high, his upside is unquestioned. The AL Cy Yong front-runner was remarkable in his last start, tossing seven one-hit innings with a season-high 13 punchouts.
Through 109 innings, the left-hander has held a 2.15 ERA with a 0.89 WHIP and 138 strikeouts.
Max Fried, NYY at New York Mets ($9.3K DK/$9.9K FD)
Max Fried is coming off one of his worst outings of the season but should be in a good position to bounce back against the Mets. The Mets have posted the 11th-highest strikeout rate while generating the 10th-lowest wRC+.
Fried has been nothing short of dominant during his debut season in the Bronx, posting a 2.13 ERA with a 0.94 WHIP across 114 innings of work.
Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):
- Garrett Crochet, BOS ($10.5K DK/$10.9K FD)
- Zack Wheeler, PHI ($10K DK/$10.8K FD)

Dillon Dingler, C - DET at Gavin Williams ($3.5K DK/$2.7K FD)
The 26-year-old has quietly put together a strong season operating at Detroit's top backstop. Over his last eight games, Dingler has posted a .296/.345/.407 slash line with one home run and four RBI. Through 67 total games, he has held a .272/.306/.422 line with nine doubles and eight long balls.
This afternoon, he will face right-hander Gavin Williams, who has struggled to find success with his four-seamer. When facing four-seamers from right-handed pitching, Dingler has generated a remarkable .668 xSLG with a .559 xwOBA, which are the second-highest marks on the team.
Spencer Torkelson, 1B - DET at Gavin Williams ($4.5K DK/$3.4K FD)
I was going to include Rhys Hoskins as my spotlight first baseman facing Edward Cabrera, but he was pulled from Saturday's game with a thumb injury and could potentially sit out this afternoon. As a result, I will target Spencer Torkelson, who should be in a prime position to succeed like his teammate Dingler.
When facing four-seamers from right-handed pitching, Torkelson has generated elite power, boasting a 1.089 xSLG with a .640 xwOBA. Over his last eight games, Torkelson has hit three home runs and added two doubles. He is a must-play on this slate.

Bo Bichette, SS - TOR vs. Tyler Anderson ($4.4K DK/$3K FD)
My final infielder to spotlight is Bo Bichette of the Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays enter this game as one of the hottest teams in the game after an impressive sweep over the New York Yankees. Over his last 12 games, Bichette has held a .265/.265/.367 line with two doubles, one home run, and six RBI.
However, he should be in a great position to return to form facing Angels left-hander Tyler Anderson. Anderson has thrown his four-seamer the most, which has not been a productive pitch. When facing four-seamers from southpaws, Bichette has generated a remarkable .810 xSLG. He is due for significant positive regression.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B - TOR ($5.3K DK/$3.4K FD)
- Gleyber Torres, 2B - DET ($4.8K DK/$3.1K FD)
- Joey Ortiz, SS on DK, 2B/SS/3B on FD - MIL ($2.7K DK/$2.6K FD)

George Springer, OF - TOR vs. Tyler Anderson ($5K DK/$3.6K FD)
Unlike his teammate Bichette, Springer has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball. Over his last four games entering Saturday, Springer launched four long balls and tallied 11 RBI.
When facing four-seamers from left-handed pitching, Springer has generated an elite .414 xwOBA. Feel confident locking in one of the hottest hitters in baseball in a favorable matchup.

Jasson Dominguez, OF - NYY at Brandon Waddell ($3.7K DK/$3.2K FD)
While the Yankees have been one of the worst teams in baseball over the past week, Jasson Dominguez has been one of the lone bright spots. Entering Saturday, the former top prospect has posted a stellar .457/.472/.771 line with three doubles and two home runs.
This afternoon, the Mets are expected to do a bullpen game with left-hander Brandon Waddell slated to see a "bulk" of the work. Waddell's sinker (deploys 23% of the time, tied for his most-used pitch) has generated a poor .472 xwOBA. When facing sinkers from southpaws, Dominguez has generated a solid .323 xwOBA.

Christian Yelich, OF - MIL at Edward Cabrera ($5.4K DK/$3.6K FD)
Christian Yelich is my final outfielder to target. Yelich has been one of the most productive hitters in the game over the past two weeks. Over his last 15 games, Yelich has posted a .375/.420/.656 line with six doubles and four home runs.
This afternoon, he will face Miami right-hander Edward Cabrera, who began to deploy his four-seamer quite often in June. In May, he only threw this pitch 14% of the time. However, last month, this was his most frequently used pitch (22.1% usage). It did not find much success, posting a .556 xwOBA. When facing four-seamers from right-handed pitching, Yelich has generated a .725 xSLG with a .466 xwOBA.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Jackson Chourio, OF - MIL ($4.7K DK/$3.5K FD)
- Myles Straw, OF - TOR ($2.5K DK/$2.2K FD)
- Wenceel Perez, OF - DET ($4.9K DK/$3.1K FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
1. Detroit Tigers at Gavin Williams
As noted above, when discussing Dingler and Torkelson, Williams has struggled to find success with his four-seamer, a pitch he throws nearly 40% of the time. In May, this pitch generated a high .462 xwOBA. While it found decent success in June, during his first start in July, it posted a similar .468 xwOBA, suggesting he may have gotten a bit lucky last month.
Over his last two outings, Williams has allowed seven runs, 12 hits, and seven walks.
Favorite Combo: Torkelson, Dingler, Torres, Perez, Keith
2. Toronto Blue Jays vs. Tyler Anderson
The 35-year-old left-hander enters this game carrying a modest 4.12 ERA with a 1.34 WHIP. Since June 1, Anderson has posted a hefty 5.58 ERA with a 1.60 WHIP.
As noted above, Anderson has not found much success from his four-seamer, which he has thrown 37.3% of the time this season. In June, this pitch generated a hefty .646 xSLG and a .446 xwOBA.
Favorite Combo: Bichette, Springer, Straw, Guerrero Jr., Lukes
3. New York Yankees at Brandon Waddell/Bullpen Game
My final stack to consider is the Yankees against the Mets. While this is difficult to project, as the Mets are expected to deploy numerous pitchers, Waddell is slated to see the bulk of the work. Waddell has generated a high 4.73 xERA and a .292 xBA, which are well below the average marks. In addition, as noted before, his sinker has posted a high .606 xSLG with a .472 xwOBA.
While he may only pitch a few innings, the Yankees should be in a great position to break out of their slump this afternoon.
Favorite Combo: Grisham, Rice, Judge, Bellinger
