Aaron Judge Goes Yard in Loss to Rockies
Aaron Judge hit his 17th home run of the season in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies. The Yankees surprisingly mustered just five hits at Coors Field in the series opener, but Judge finished 2-for-4 with a solo shot and a single. It was the seventh home run of May for Judge. The 33-year-old has been on a tear all season and now owns a ridiculous .398/.487/.754 line across 226 trips to the plate. He has a relatively favorable matchup Saturday against Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland, who has recorded a woeful 5.68 ERA in 50 2/3 innings this year.
