Every AFC Team's Most Undervalued Dynasty Fantasy Football Players to Target in 2025

Jaylen Waddle - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Undervalued dynasty fantasy football players for 2025 in the AFC. Draft these sleepers: Jaylen Waddle, Marquise Brown, Quentin Johnston, Alec Pierce, and more.

Dynasty fantasy football is a growing game. What started as a thing for hardcore players has become a format casual players enjoy, too.

While everyone enjoys making a blockbuster trade, moving multiple superstar players and draft picks, that’s not how you win your dynasty fantasy league. Instead, the league-winning moves are the ones for undervalued players.

Let’s look at the most undervalued dynasty player for every AFC team.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. AFC East

Ray Davis, RB, Buffalo Bills

James Cook is up for a contract extension after having a career year in 2024. While the Bills have shown no signs of trading the star running back, he has made public contract demands, which could lead to an offseason parting. Davis played well in limited action, averaging 6.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, totaling six offensive touchdowns.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins

Unfortunately, Waddle had a disappointing 2024 season. He finished the year as the WR46, averaging eight half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, the former Alabama star is one of the better young wide receivers in the NFL. Waddle has the talent needed to bounce back next year. Furthermore, he could be Tua Tagovailoa’s No. 1 wide receiver if Tyreek Hill gets traded.

Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots

The Patriots had arguably the most lackluster set of weapons in the NFL last season. Yet, Henry was a solid tight end for fantasy players. The veteran ended the year as the TE12, averaging seven half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, Henry averaged 7.1 targets and 8.8 fantasy points per game in the nine contests he played at least 58% of the snaps with Drake Maye.

Aaron Rodgers, QB, New York Jets

While the Jets will move on from Rodgers this offseason, the future Hall of Famer has some fantasy gas left in the tank. The veteran was the QB15 last year, averaging 15.1 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he averaged 17.2 fantasy points per game over the final five weeks. If Rodgers lands with the Los Angeles Rams, don’t be surprised if he has a bounce-back 2025 season.

AFC North

Rashod Bateman, WR, Baltimore Ravens

Bateman had a productive 2024 season after struggling with staying healthy early in his career. The former Minnesota star became a reliable weapon for Lamar Jackson, totaling nine receiving touchdowns, including four over the final month of the regular season. More importantly, he finished the year as the WR34, averaging 8.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.

Andrei Iosivas, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Hopefully, the Bengals can sign Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to long-term extensions this offseason. However, Iosivas could become a weekly flex option for fantasy players in 2025. The former Princeton star would be the favorite to take over as Joe Burrow’s No. 2 wide receiver if Higgins plays elsewhere next year.

Jerome Ford, RB, Cleveland Browns

Unfortunately, Nick Chubb is an upcoming free agent and unlikely to return to Cleveland, making Ford the early favorite to start next season. The Browns likely won’t invest significant draft capital at running back as they head into another rebuilding project. Ford was productive in 2023, with Chubb missing most of the year, finishing as the RB17, averaging 11.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per contest.

Justin Fields, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Fantasy football is better when Fields is a starting quarterback for some NFL team. Whether in Pittsburgh or elsewhere, fantasy players should bet on the veteran starting again in 2025. While he isn’t an average passer, the former Ohio State star is one of the top rushing quarterbacks in the league. Fields had five rushing touchdowns last year in his six starts.

AFC South

John Metchie III, WR, Houston Texans

Houston’s wide receiver core could look drastically different next season. Stefon Diggs is coming off a torn ACL and is a free agent. Tank Dell likely won’t play in 2025 because of a massive knee injury. Metchie hasn’t had any meaningful fantasy value in his career. However, that could change for the former second-rounder next year.

Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts

While Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs are the two big-name players in the team’s wide receiver room, Pierce had a breakout 2024 season. He finished the year as the WR39, averaging 8.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, totaling seven receiving touchdowns. More importantly, Pierce was Anthony Richardson’s best deep threat.

Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Lawrence had an awful 2024 season, ending the year as the QB27, averaging 14.5 fantasy points per game. However, he dealt with multiple injuries, missing seven of the final eight contests. Yet, fantasy players should expect him to bounce back under new head coach Liam Coen.

Tyjae Spears, RB, Tennessee Titans

The Titans have a talented 1-2 punch in the backfield. While Tony Pollard is the starter, Spears earned more work at the end of the last year. He averaged 15.3 touches for 87 scrimmage yards, 1.3 touchdowns, and 18.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over his final three regular-season contests, totaling 20 or more twice.

AFC West

Marvin Mims Jr., WR, Denver Broncos

Many believe the Broncos will add a big-name wide receiver in the offseason. However, don’t be surprised if Denver addresses other needs because of Mims. The former Oklahoma star shined at the end of last season, totaling 13 receptions for 154 receiving yards, four touchdowns, and 45.8 half-point PPR fantasy points over the final two weeks.

Marquise Brown, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Brown is an upcoming free agent this offseason and is unlikely to return to Kansas City. Unfortunately, the veteran only played in two regular season games because of an injury. While he has dealt with injuries in his career, Brown was once a fantasy star. The veteran could bounce back in the right situation next year.

Jakobi Meyers, WR, Las Vegas Raiders

While the Raiders’ lacked a difference-maker at quarterback, Meyers had a solid 2024 season. The veteran finished the year as the WR23, averaging 11.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game despite Brock Bowers breaking the record for receptions by a rookie. Meyers should be even better once Las Vegas upgrades its quarterback room.

Quentin Johnston, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

Fantasy players should have high hopes for Ladd McConkey in 2025 as Justin Herbert’s No. 1 wide receiver. However, Johnston made massive improvements last year after an awful rookie season. The former TCU star averaged 9.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game while leading the team with eight receiving touchdowns.
