Dan's top quarterback Week 11 fantasy pickups (2024). The best QB fantasy waiver wire pickups to add and Week 11 QB streamers for 1QB, 2QB and superflex leagues.
Outside of a stellar Thursday matchup between the Ravens and Bengals, Week 10 was full of absolutely terrible football. There were nearly as many teams with 17 or fewer points (6) as with 27 or more points (8).
Four more teams will be on bye in Week 11. Two of them (Tampa Bay and Arizona) feature quarterbacks starting in all fantasy leagues. The other two (Carolina and the Giants) have quarterbacks that are certainly relevant in two-quarterback leagues. It will be imperative for fantasy managers to attack the waiver wire again this week.
In this article, I will be focusing on players under 65% rostered in fantasy leagues while adding a couple of deep sleepers for two-quarterback leagues (less than 25% rostered).

Single-QB Waiver Wire Targets
Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
Yahoo: 54% rostered
Over the next three weeks, the Chargers have fantastic matchups for fantasy quarterbacks. The team will face off against Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Atlanta from Weeks 11 to 13.
Week 10 wasn’t the biggest passing volume game from Herbert (18 attempts), but the Chargers have been able to air the ball out in recent weeks. From Weeks 6 to 9, Los Angeles had at least 27 passing attempts. As a result, Herbert posted four straight games with at least 13.0 fantasy points and two games with 20+ fantasy points.

Herbert was able to remain fantasy-relevant in Week 10 despite the lack of passing volume. The quarterback still threw for 164 yards and a touchdown while adding seven carries for 34 yards and a rushing score. It was his third straight game with 19+ fantasy points.
If the Chargers can find themselves in a shootout game script (very possible against Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Atlanta) then Herbert is poised to continue his strong stretch of fantasy production.
Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Yahoo: 33% rostered
Bo Nix continues to provide a solid weekly floor as a fantasy quarterback. Nix completed 22 of 30 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns in a matchup against a tough Chiefs defense in Week 10. The rookie scored 16.1 fantasy points on the day. It was his sixth straight week with 14.0 or more fantasy points.

Nix is starting to get comfortable in Denver’s passing offense, which is allowing him to provide a consistent weekly floor in fantasy football. Over the last six weeks, Nix has 1,308 passing yards and nine touchdowns with just two interceptions. He’s also added 180 rushing yards and two scores on the ground.
Denver has three strong matchups for fantasy quarterbacks (Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Cleveland) before finally hitting their bye in Week 14. Nix should be rostered in all leagues regardless of format until that week.
Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers
Yahoo: 21% rostered
Russell Wilson had another strong start against the Commanders coming out of the bye. The veteran completed just 50% of his passes but threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns with an interception. Wilson had 18.1 fantasy points, the third time in three starts he’s exceeded 13.0 fantasy points.

Wilson continues to establish a connection with George Pickens but also got an excellent deep touchdown to new wide receiver Mike Williams. The veteran quarterback has just six touchdowns with one interception since being named the starter in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers get an excellent matchup against the Ravens in Week 11. Wilson has one of the better schedules for fantasy quarterbacks down the stretch with games against Baltimore (two), Cleveland (two), Cincinnati, and Philadelphia between Weeks 11 and 16.
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Yahoo: 62% rostered
The Rams' offense has been firing on all cylinders the last two weeks with a tough matchup on tap tonight against the Dolphins. The return of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua has helped put Matthew Stafford back on the fantasy radar.

Stafford has exceeded 17.0 fantasy points in each of his last two weeks, including a 24.7-point performance against the Vikings in Week 8. The return of Nacua and Kupp has helped Stafford throw for 577 yards and six touchdowns with just two interceptions.
Los Angeles is expected to get both Jonah Jackson and Steve Avila back as soon as tonight’s game against Miami. It will be the first time all season we have seen their offense at full strength.
Regardless of how tonight’s matchup against the Dolphins goes, Stafford is an add for fantasy thanks to matchups against New England and Philadelphia in Weeks 11 and 12.
Two-QB Waiver Wire
Drake Maye, New England Patriots
Yahoo: 13% rostered
Drake Maye had another respectable fantasy performance against the Bears defense in Week 10. Maye posted 11.7 fantasy points thanks to 184 passing yards and a touchdown with an interception. He also added four carries for 24 yards.
Since becoming the starter, Maye has never had fewer than 11.0 fantasy points despite playing behind a terrible offensive line and with questionable receiving talent.

Maye will get a solid matchup again in Week 11 when the Patriots play the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams' defense has been improved, but it is still a positive matchup for the rookie due to the questionable talent in their secondary.
Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints
Yahoo: 12% rostered
The Saints are now missing Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave in the receiving corps. None of that mattered for Derek Carr in a surprising victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

Carr completed 16 of 25 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns. He scored 22.4 fantasy points against a solid Falcons’ defense without any of his top weapons. It was Carr’s third 20+ scoring effort of the season.
The veteran quarterback has at least 13.0 fantasy points in both of his starts since returning from an injury. Neither matchup was especially difficult for the Saints, but it still shows that Carr can put up fantasy points regardless of the weapons around him.
The Saints play an underwhelming Browns defense in Week 11, putting Carr firmly on the fantasy radar yet again.
Trey Lance, Dallas Cowboys
Yahoo: 1% rostered
Trey Lance is worth a bench stash in two-quarterback leagues with deep benches. It sounds like Dak Prescott may miss the rest of the season with a torn hamstring.
The Cooper Rush experience yielded a paltry 54.5% completion percentage for 43 passing yards in three quarters. Lance was able to play for over a quarter but didn’t yield much better results.
Still, we have reached a point where Dallas needs to see what Lance is with his pending free agency on the horizon. It seems very likely that Lance is bad considering he couldn’t even beat out Cooper Rush to earn this start. However, rushing is king at the quarterback position in fantasy and Lance can provide that regardless of his deficiencies as a passer.
