Five Quarterbacks Set To Outperform Their ADP In FFPC Fantasy Football Leagues (2024)

Kyler Murray - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Dave analyzes five quarterbacks that can outperform their 2024 fantasy football ADPs in FFPC leagues. Draft these fantasy football values and sleepers in FFPC.

Quarterback is arguably the most important position in all of professional sports. If a team can find a stud quarterback, it makes their life much easier. This applies to fantasy football managers and their teams as well.

While paying up for quarterback is a necessity in the NFL, it’s not always the most prudent approach in fantasy football drafts. Year after year, we find value at the quarterback position. This gives us an immediate edge on the competition as we have a player who gives equal (or sometimes better) production compared to the top options at the position.

Today, we’re going to look at several quarterbacks who can outperform their FFPC ADP and be great value picks for fantasy managers. Make sure you follow RotoBaller on X and check out RotoBaller.com for all your fantasy football needs. Here are five quarterbacks set to outperform their 2024 FFPC ADP.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

FFPC ADP: 77.95 Overall, QB8

Murray feels like one of the biggest steals available in drafts this year.

With QB3 and QB6 finishes on his resume, Murray has already proven he can be an elite fantasy quarterback. He posted a QB9 finish in fantasy points per game (PPG) last year despite missing nine games recovering from a torn ACL. We should expect to see improvement from Murray now that he is further removed from his knee injury. It also stands to reason that he will show improvement during his second year in offensive coordinator Drew Petzing’s system. Murray also gets a massive boost to his receiving core, with Marvin Harrison Jr. set to take over as Arizona’s WR1. Stud tight end Trey McBride will be a go-to weapon as well. Murray’s health and overall offensive situation have improved, but his ADP doesn’t quite reflect it.

He still offers Konami Code appeal and carries elite fantasy upside. A top-three season is always within striking distance, thanks to his rushing abilities. Murray is one of the best options available if you wait until the middle rounds to select a quarterback. You might just get this year’s overall QB1 if you do.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

FFPC ADP: 79.16 Overall, QB9

Prescott has long been undervalued by the fantasy football community. He has five top-10 QB finishes to his name as well as two top-5 finishes. 2023 may have been Prescott’s best season to date. He threw for 36 passing touchdowns against only 9 interceptions and finished the season as Pro Football Focus’ (PFF) third-highest-graded passer. Among quarterbacks with 300 dropbacks, Prescott finished second in Fantasy Points Data Suite’s Adjusted Completion Percentage and first in their Catchable Throw Percentage. It all culminated with an overall QB3 finish and a QB5 finish in terms of fantasy points per game (PPG).

Dallas’ signal-caller also posted a strong 6.1% touchdown rate. This could be an area of regression in 2024. However, given the team’s offseason moves, Dallas appears to have no choice but to run the offense through Prescott’s arm. The Cowboys opted to let last year’s starting running back Tony Pollard walk in free agency. Dallas re-signed longtime starting back Ezekiel Elliott as a result. This was the only real addition made to improve the ground game. Elliott was still effective for fantasy purposes, but from a real-life NFL perspective, he was awful. He posted a career-worst 3.5 yards per carry and is clearly a player in decline. On paper, it does not appear that the team improved their ground attack at all.

Based on their actions, it seems crystal clear that the plan is to once again rely on Prescott and the passing game to carry the offense. Should that be the case, then Prescott will deliver another strong performance for fantasy managers everywhere.

Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns

FFPC ADP: 154.37 Overall, QB20

Watson’s 2023 season was cut short due to issues with his throwing shoulder. While he struggled with this injury and overall lousy play, Watson still found a way to be productive in fantasy football.

There are still many concerns surrounding the Browns’ signal-caller. He’s only started 12 games in the last three seasons, and it’s unclear if he ever regains his previous form.

Look, Watson was awful last year. Any metric will show you that. But at the end of the day, fantasy football is a game about scoring points. Watson showed last year he can still do that even when playing at a subpar level.

If he stays healthy, he can smash his ADP and be a massive value. If you adhere to the late-round quarterback strategy, Watson makes for a great selection, as he proved last year that he can still return QB1 production.

Will Levis, Tennessee Titans

FFPC ADP: 218.16 Overall, QB24

Tennessee has shown its commitment to building around its young quarterback this offseason. With the seventh pick in the NFL Draft, the Titans selected tackle JC Latham to further improve Levis’s offensive line. The team also signed Pollard, Calvin Ridley, and Tyler Boyd in free agency to beef up the skill players surrounding him. Levis had an up-and-down rookie season, but the 2023 second-round pick flashed upside throughout the year.

Among 33 quarterbacks with 300 dropbacks, Levis ranked dead last in Adjusted Completion Percentage. He will need to make improvements in Year 2. The young quarterback has reportedly been working hard this offseason to clean up his footwork and mechanics. This is a good sign for his outlook. New head coach Brian Callahan does have experience working with young quarterbacks as he was instrumental in Joe Burrow’s development in Cincinnati.

Basically, we are banking on a team surrounding a young quarterback with an abundance of talent as well as a strong offensive coach developing him and building a system to highlight his strengths. With a plethora of weapons at Levis’s disposal, Tennessee has done everything it can to set him up for success. There is sneaky breakout potential here, and he’s a good option in two-quarterback or superflex leagues. If Levis does break out, then he will blow past his QB24 price tag.

Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers

FFPC ADP: 293.21 Overall, QB29

2023 was a complete disaster for Young.

As bad as things were, there’s reason for optimism in 2024. New Panthers head coach Dave Canales has a strong track record with quarterbacks. In 2022, Canales was the quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks. He worked closely with starter Geno Smith and helped guide him to an out-of-nowhere career year culminating with Smith winning the 2022 Comeback Player of The Year Award. Canales then moved on to Tampa Bay, where he was the Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator last year. He worked directly with quarterback Baker Mayfield. Once again, Canales’ signal-caller enjoyed a career year as Mayfield posted career highs across the board.

Carolina has also done their best to surround Young with better weapons. They traded for receiver Diontae Johnson this offseason. He is now a legitimate WR1 target for their young quarterback. The Panthers also drafted rookie receiver Xavier Legette and running back Jonathon Brooks in the NFL Draft. The second-year signal-caller is in a much better position this year.

While he was terrible as a rookie, we shouldn’t give up all hope on Young.

This is a play on a strong offensive mind uniting with a former number-one overall pick. We saw Sean McVay work wonders for Jared Goff in Los Angeles after the latter endured a tough rookie season. There’s hope Canales can have the same effect on Young. He makes for a better investment in superflex leagues than he does in traditional one-quarterback formats. If Canales can fix Young, then the latter will be a pleasant surprise for fantasy gamers.
