DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 12/8/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 12/8/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We are back with a rather large seven-game slate tonight, but there is only one Power Six team in action (Boston College). Let's get familiar with some of these tournament-wrecking mid-majors a bit early, shall we?

These aren't just schools no one has heard of. Fairleigh Dickinson pulled the biggest upset in NCAA Tournament history last year. St. Peter's also made a miracle run in the 2022 tournament. Oakland took down Xavier and Marshall last month. Harvard played Indiana tough. The nation's leader in assists (Savion Lewis of Quinnipiac) is on this slate. We are still going to have some good basketball going on!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/8/23, starting at 7 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Malik Mack, Harvard ($8,800)

Mack had been on a roll until the Crimson ran into Loyola-Chicago last weekend. I'm not going to hold it against him. The Ramblers are still that tough defensive team that made a run to the Final Four a few years ago even though the coaches and personnel have changed. Harvard scored just 53 points in the game, so the numbers were down for everyone. Mack still got his normal number of shots and all peripherals but assists. I expect him to be back on track tonight.

Jaeden Zackery, Boston College ($7,700)

Zackery might be the best player on the only major team on this slate. He played just 22 minutes against Central Connecticut earlier this week, but he still hit 30 DraftKings points. Zackery has scored in double figures in three straight and had multiple steals in all of those games. He can rack up points in a hurry with the peripherals, especially against overmatched teams.

Isaiah Rivera, Illinois-Chicago ($6,400)

UIC took down both George Washington and Middle Tennessee State around Thanksgiving, so this team has talent on it. Rivera leads the Flames with 16 points per game. This is a very guard-oriented team. They all stack peripheral stats, but none of them can score like Rivera does. I'm chasing the points here since Rivera has been consistent for much of the year.

Donald Hand Jr., Boston College ($4,400)

Claudell Harris missed the Central Connecticut game with a twisted ankle, so the Eagles may hold him out here as well. Both Hand and Mason Madsen played well in Harris's stead and both are great options again in a game where the reserves should see big minutes once the Eagles stake out a big lead.

Also consider: Tyson Acuff, Eastern Michigan ($9,400); Kyky Tandy, Jacksonville State ($8,000); Savion Lewis, Quinnipiac ($7,200); Joe Octave, Holy Cross ($7,100); CJ Jones, UIC ($6,800); Kareem Rozier, Duquesne ($5,600); Blake Barker, Army ($5,000)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Donovan Draper, Navy ($8,000)

Draper has back-to-back double-doubles and is just one rebound shy of it being three straight. Draper is becoming more assertive on offense and has been the best scorer for the Middies in the last fortnight. The tentativeness that he showed earlier this season seems to be a thing of the past. If we can get a double-double machine for $8,000, I'm happy with that.

Josh Scovens, Army ($7,200)

Scovens has turned into the best scorer for Army since Thanksgiving. He has been in double figures in each of the last four games. Scovens hauls down enough rebounds to be a constant double-double threat. Outside of Quinten Post, Scovens is also the most accomplished rim protector on the slate. There is a lot to like here.

Fousseyni Drame, Duquesne ($5,700)

If the name sounds familiar, it should.

The Drame twins headed from St. Peter's to La Salle last year with moderate success. Now they are both at Duquesne, and both are viable options tonight. Fousseyni is a better scorer, but both are disruptors on the defensive end of the court, which can pile on DraftKings points in a hurry.

Also consider: Quinten Post, Boston College ($9,700); Chisom Okpara, Harvard ($7,800); Andrei Savrasov, Duquesne ($6,600); Jalin Billingsley, Eastern Michigan ($4,800); Hassan Drame, Duquesne ($3,800)
