Joe Mixon's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Joe Mixon for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was a popular early-round pick this year. The veteran running back has had a featured role in the 2023. More importantly, he is the RB18 for the season, averaging 12 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Mixon has 161 rushing attempts for 621 yards and four touchdowns on the year. He also has 33 receptions for 232 receiving yards and a touchdown. Two weeks ago, the former Oklahoma star was outstanding in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He had 16 rushing attempts for 69 yards and five receptions for 31 receiving yards and a touchdown, scoring 18.5 fantasy points.
Unfortunately, Mixon had an awful fantasy football performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12. Despite a fantasy-friendly matchup, the veteran running back had only eight rushing attempts for 16 yards and two receptions for 44 receiving yards, scoring seven fantasy points in the loss.
More importantly, he faces the Jacksonville Jaguars tomorrow night. The Jaguars have held running back to only 42 rushing yards and 10.8 fantasy points per game over the past two weeks. Yet, fantasy players should feel confident starting Mixon in 12-team leagues.
