Dalton Schultz's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Dalton Schultz for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: N/A – Will Not Play
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz was a popular late-round fantasy football draft pick this season. The former Dallas Cowboys star is the TE8 for the year, averaging 8.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. More importantly, he has been a reliable target for C.J. Stroud. Schultz has 40 receptions on 61 targets for 455 receiving yards and five touchdowns this season.
Unfortunately, the veteran tight end will not play tomorrow against the Denver Broncos because of a hamstring injury. Schultz didn’t practice all week and will miss his first game of the year. That means Brevin Jordan will be the starting tight end tomorrow for Houston.
Tomorrow’s matchup against the Broncos is excellent for fantasy players. Denver has surrendered 13.4 fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, the most in the NFL. They have given up at least 12 fantasy points to tight ends in four consecutive games and seven of the past eight contests.
Fantasy players setting DFS lineups or in deeper season-long leagues should consider Jordan an appealing long-shot option at the tight end position.
