NFL DFS Stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel - Top Week 13 Daily Fantasy Football Picks

Brock Purdy - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Skyler's NFL DFS stacks for FanDuel, DraftKings GPP tournaments and Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season. Target these GPP stacks for daily fantasy football lineups.

Kyren Williams was the lone building block that the Milly Maker winner on DraftKings and FanDuel both had in Week 12. After not having a single team on a bye week in Week 12, we are left with an interesting 10-game main slate in Week 13 as six teams are on a bye week.

In this weekly article, we'll be taking a look at stacks and bring-back options that are ideal plays in GPPs (guaranteed prize pools) on DraftKings and FanDuel. Salaries and scoring formats can differ on both sites, making some players much better options on one site compared to the other.

When looking at stacks and bring-back players each week, you have to take into account potential game scripts and correlation. Before the 13th week of the season, here are my favorite stacks and bring-back options in NFL DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles

The marquee matchup in Week 13 is a potential NFC Championship preview — and rematch — between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles. Regardless of what everyone thinks about him, Brock Purdy has been performing extremely well in recent weeks. Purdy didn't need to do much in last week's blowout win against the Seattle Seahawks, but he had two straight games of throwing for at least 296 yards and three touchdowns before that. Only the Washington Commanders have given up more fantasy points per game to quarterback than the Eagles. We've also seen the 49ers rise up to sixth in neutral pass rate since Week 9, giving Purdy a chance to have another ceiling game against a pass-funneling defense.

Brandon Aiyuk has cemented himself as the clear No. 1 pass-catching option for the 49ers this season. While the ball is spread around in San Francisco's high-octane offense, Aiyuk has the second-highest air yards per route run (3.87) among receivers who have run 200-plus routes. This has led to him scoring a touchdown in three consecutive games as he's built a formidable rapport with Purdy. The talented wideout has also scored fewer than 10 PPR points in only two games this season. The Eagles have surrendered the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

Even with last week's dud in a lopsided win, George Kittle may be unseating Deebo Samuel as the preferred No. 2 option in the passing game. Kittle has received seven or more targets in three of his last five games. On top of that, the Eagles are tied for the most receiving touchdowns allowed (6) to the tight end position. While Samuel isn't seeing consistent usage in the aerial attack, he's always a threat to score a rushing touchdown. The 49ers are going to treat this game like a playoff matchup, so Samuel has a chance to score his third touchdown in the last four weeks. I'm also not against the idea of stacking Christian McCaffrey with Purdy if you can find a way to fit him into your lineup.

Bring-back options:

The 49ers are a zone-heavy defense and A.J. Brown leads the Eagles with a 29.6% target share against zone coverage this season. Even though Brown has combined for six catches, 45 receiving yards, and one touchdown on 13 targets in the last two weeks, he should be busy in a game where the Eagles are around three-point underdogs at home. Besides the Eagles, the 49ers have also been fantasy-friendly to wide receivers this season, allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game to the position.

Dallas Goedert holds a questionable tag at the time this article is being written, so we'll need to monitor his status heading into Sunday's anticipated matchup. If Goedert is sidelined again, DeVonta Smith should continue to receive a massive boost in his usage. In the two weeks that Goedert has been out for the Eagles, Smith has totaled 13 receptions, 205 receiving yards, and a touchdown on 16 targets. D'Andre Swift is worth a look as the 49ers are 20th in run-defense DVOA and fifth in pass-defense DVOA. The Eagles could also get Swift more involved in the passing game to help negate the daunting pass rush of the 49ers.

Washington Commanders vs. Miami Dolphins

I'll certainly want to have exposure to the showdown between the Washington Commanders and the Miami Dolphins. The cheapest — and easiest — way to get exposure to this game is by stacking Sam Howell instead of Tua Tagovailoa. Howell is tied with Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen for the most starts (10) this season where he's notched 15.3 or more fantasy points. The Commanders are letting Howell sling it around each week as Washington has the third-highest neutral pass rate since Week 9. The Commanders/Dolphins game has the highest projected total (50) on the main slate. While most of those points are expected to be scored by the Dolphins, Howell and the Commanders will need to try to keep up at home.

What makes this stack even more enticing is the fact the pass catchers on the Commanders are cheap on both sites. Even though the Commanders spread the ball around on offense, Terry McLaurin has not seen fewer than seven targets since Week 5 against the Chicago Bears. McLaurin remains Washington's preferred big-play option as he is registering a team-high 31% of the air yards. While Jalen Ramsey has been a tremendous addition, the Dolphins are tied for the sixth-most receiving touchdowns allowed (12) to wide receivers. That should aid McLaurin, who has only two receiving touchdowns thus far.

Jahan Dotson finally had a somewhat productive game in which Curtis Samuel also played a full four quarters. Dotson registered five receptions for 52 yards on six targets in Week 12 versus the Dallas Cowboys. The second-year wideout has a touchdown in three of his last five games. Curtis Samuel continues to be overlooked as he hauled in nine of his team-high 12 targets for 100 yards in last week's loss to the Cowboys. Samuel leads the Commanders in red-zone targets (10) and they love to get him out in space on quick passes from Howell. The versatile wideout was just inches away from scoring a touchdown in Week 12.

Bring-back options:

Tyreek Hill provides us with one of the safest floors at the receiver position as he boasts a 32.8% target share (second-highest in the NFL). The electric playmaker leads all wide receivers in receiving yards (1,324) and receiving touchdowns (10). Besides having a safe floor, there isn't a receiver that has a higher ceiling each week, as well. There aren't many better matchups for Hill as the Commanders give up the second-most fantasy points per game to receivers. The Commanders have also surrendered the most passing plays (51) of 20-plus yards this season.

Jaylen Waddle caught a season-high eight passes for 114 yards in Week 12 against the New York Jets. After a slow start to the season, Waddle has now commanded eight or more targets in five of his last seven games. It should be touchdowns galore for the Dolphins in Week 13 as they own the highest projected team total (30) on the main slate. Waddle has scored only three receiving touchdowns so far, but the Commanders have allowed the most receiving touchdowns (18) to wide receivers. Raheem Mostert is a solid play if De'Von Achane is ruled out for the second straight week. For those who are predicting a blowout here, Jeff Wilson Jr. could be worth a flier as he touched the ball 14 times for 73 yards in last week's 34-13 win over the Jets.

Denver Broncos at Houston Texans

Recommending Russell Wilson in the year 2023 doesn't come without plenty of risk. The Denver Broncos are run-oriented under Sean Payton, but the veteran signal-caller is growing more comfortable in the new offense. While Wilson threw for only 134 yards and one score in Week 12, he ran the ball a season-high 11 times for 34 yards and another touchdown. Wilson now has five games this season where he's recorded six or more rushing attempts. The Texans are another pass-funneling defense as they are 26th in pass-defense DVOA and 10th in run-defense DVOA. Even though Payton isn't letting Wilson fully cook, he's at least letting him set the dinner table right now. It's completely fine to single-stack Wilson as it could be just one of the pass-catching options that helps him produce a ceiling outcome.

In all likeliness, if it's going to be just one pass catcher that helps Wilson get home, it's going to be Courtland Sutton. Sutton has emerged as Wilson's primary target and Sutton looks rejuvenated this season. The physical wideout is tied for the third-most receiving touchdowns (8) among receivers as he is tied for the seventh-most red-zone targets (15) in the NFL. The Broncos and Texans have the second-highest projected total (47.5), so there are paths for Denver's passing game to have success in what is expected to be a close game. Sutton was also yards away from scoring his ninth touchdown of the season in Week 12.

Jerry Jeudy has struggled to find his footing this season, but he should have a better chance to succeed this week. The Texans are another zone-heavy defense, and Jeudy leads the Broncos with a 23.2% target against zone coverage this season. Marvin Mims Jr. has been seeing more playing time in recent weeks despite it not resulting in more fantasy success. Since Denver's bye week in Week 9, Mims has run the third-most routes (66) on the Broncos, which is only 17 fewer than Sutton. We want to get ahead of a breakout game for Mims and this could be the week he explodes as the Broncos could throw it more against a Texans defense that is giving up only 3.6 yards per attempt on the ground (third-fewest in the NFL).

Bring-back options:

The defense of the Broncos has looked drastically improved in recent weeks, but C.J. Stroud has shown he can excel against formidable defenses as a rookie. Tank Dell remains the No. 1 option for the Texans through the air as he's now posted at least five receptions, 50 receiving yards, and one touchdown in four straight games. The Texans have quietly logged the fourth-highest neutral pass rate since Week 9.

Nico Collins has led the Texans in targets in back-to-back weeks despite Dell being the more tantalizing option. Collins tallied seven catches for 104 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 to give him double-digit PPR points in three consecutive outings. Dalton Schultz shouldn't be forgotten despite last week's dud as he leads the Texans in red-zone targets (12) and red-zone receiving touchdowns (5). Devin Singletary has seemingly unseated Dameon Pierce as the starting back in Houston's offense after receiving 12 touches to Pierce's six in Week 12.
