Kevin Harvick was eliminated from the playoffs in last weekend's Bristol Night Race by four points after an uncharacteristically poor 29th-place finish. It would have been easy for Harvick to advance since the two bubble drivers who advanced to the next round, Martin Truex, Jr. and Bubba Wallace, scored mediocre 19th and 14th place finishes respectively, but despite facing tremendous pressure, Harvick finished five laps down, had his second-slowest race this season, and was outrun by all three of his teammates. Having already announced his retirement, it makes one wonder if Harvick's sense of urgency is not quite there. When you consider how slow the Stewart-Haas cars usually are on intermediates, be leery in expecting big things from him on Sunday.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
