Christopher Bell did not get that fourth straight pole. However, the three Joe Gibbs Racing veterans have had blistering speed on intermediates with Truex leading the series with a speed percentile of 88.77% on those tracks followed by Denny Hamlin's 87.56%, Kyle Larson's 84.22%, and Bell's 80.07%. The Toyota dominance continued in qualifying with Bubba Wallace winning the pole, rookie Ty Gibbs starting fourth, and two other Toyotas including Bell making the final round. Amongst the Toyota drivers, Truex has been the fastest driver in six races this season while Reddick has three times and Hamlin once. However, Bell hasn't led a race in speed all season. While a Bell win would hardly be surprising, those other Toyota drivers seem more likely to win.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
