WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (9/10/23): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings, FanDuel

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 9/10/23. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel.

We've made it to the final day of the WNBA season. And while the eight playoff spots are set, there's still seeding to play for. Only three teams—Connecticut, Dallas, Chicago—have their seed clinched heading into the final game of the 2023 season.

If you're looking for WNBA daily fantasy picks and some betting advice this season, then you're in the right place. I'll be here providing picks for any slate with two or more games, offering my insight into the league.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 9/11/2023 at 1:00 PM ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty) vs. WAS (DK: $11,400, FD: $9,600)

New York needs a win to get the No. 1 seed, and I expect them to go hard for that. And Breanna Stewart needs to have a big game to fend off Jewell Loyd in the battle for the single-season scoring record, so I expect things to run through Stewie.

The former MVP has scored 20-plus points in three consecutive games, including putting up a 40 burger two games ago against Dallas. On Sunday, she faces the Mystics, who she had 24 points and 10 rebounds against when the teams last met back in July. I expect a big end to the regular season for Stewart.

Dearica Hamby (Los Angeles Sparks) @ SEA (DK: $7,100, FD: $6,100)

The Sparks are heading to the lottery, but they have a chance to get a win over Seattle to end the year on a good note.

One player I'd look to play well in this one is Dearica Hamby. She's played 30-plus minutes in three straight games, scoring in double figures in all three of those contests. Last game, Hamby had 11 points, eight rebounds, and two assists in a loss to the Liberty.

She hasn't scored in double figures in three games against Seattle, but her role wasn't as big in those games. With injuries all over this Sparks lineup, Hamby should have a huge role on Sunday.

Rebecca Allen (Connecticut Sun) vs. CHI (DK: $6,600, FD: $5,400)

The Connecticut Sun have the third seed clinched. To me, that means there's no reason to have Alyssa Thomas go all-out in this one, aside from the whole "trying to impress in the MVP battle for the last time." And while winning the MVP would be nice, I can't see Connecticut overworking its most important player in a meaningless game.

That gives a theoretical boost to the other players on the team. I think Rebecca Allen will be a nice value option in this contest. She's a good three-point shooter who should see an increase in volume. A couple weeks ago against Los Angeles, she took 10 field goal attempts. In that one, she had 14 points, four rebounds, one assist, and three steals.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Brittney Sykes (Washington Mystics) @ NY (DK: $9,700, FD: $7,300)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Brittney Sykes was such a huge addition for the Mystics this season. If Washington didn't sign her, this wouldn't have been a playoff team. Having Sykes helped them weather a lot of injury issues.

The Mystics have a chance to improve their seeding, and it's something I expect them to go hard for. You don't want to be the seventh or eighth seed this year.

Sykes had 27 points last game against Atlanta, going 11-for-24 from the floor and adding five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. It was the sixth game in a row that she's scored in double figures.

Sug Sutton (Phoenix Mercury) @ LV (DK: $8,800, FD: $5,600)

One of my favorite stories this year was Sug Sutton. I covered her back when she was in college at the University of Texas and loved to watch her, but it seemed like her shot at making a WNBA career was probably over.

Instead, she wound up on a Mercury team that's dealt with injuries all year, allowing Sutton to play a key role. She capped this great year off with the first triple-double of her career last game, which I think makes her the first player drafted outside the first round to record one.

Sutton had 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in that one. She'll continue to play a key role in the Mercury's season finale against the Las Vegas Aces.

Veronica Burton (Dallas Wings) @ ATL (DK: $6,000, FD: $3,900)

The Wings are the four seed. Starting point guard Crystal Dangerfield missed last game with a head injury and is questionable for this one. I really don't see a reason to rush her back.

With Dangerfield sidelined, Burton played 40 minutes last game, scoring 12 points on 4-for-14 shooting and adding three rebounds, five assists, and five steals. She's taken double-digit field goal attempts in three of the past four games.
