Robbie Ray Hasn't Resumed Throwing
Robbie Ray (forearm) hasn't started throwing yet, but he's feeling better and is getting through upper-body workouts. the 2021 American League Cy Young winner was shut down from throwing for at least two weeks after he suffered a Grade 1 flexor strain in the second inning of his first start in 2023. Ray will need to build his arm strength back up once he's healed, so he'll likely need to go on a minor-league rehab assignment. "He feels really good about where he's at," Servais said. "I'm sure he'll get a ball in his hand here soon." Ray doesn't have a clear timetable for a return, and fantasy managers should expect him to miss at least a month of action.
