Justin Jefferson - Fantasy Football Rankings, DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Injury News

Joe Nicely's DraftKings NFL DFS picks and lineup sleepers for Week 6 (2022). His top daily fantasy football lineups to target for DraftKings DFS contests.

Hello RotoBallers and welcome back to Break The Slate, our DraftKings NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Week 6! I appreciate you joining me in our season-long quest to find the best plays at each position for every DraftKings Main Slate.

As bye weeks begin to kick in, the Week 6 main slate appears to be an interesting one. In addition to teams going on byes, we have numerous injury situations to monitor. These injury-driven plays offer an excellent way to save salary on this slate, but will also come with heavy ownership. We'll hit on as many angles as possible in this week's article!

These DraftKings lineup recommendations are based on matchups, projected DK points and ownership, overall upside/talent levels, and opportunity, as well as factors such as Vegas odds, home-field advantage, and more. There are quite a few great plays available on DK for Week 6. Also, be sure to also check out our weekly FanDuel DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big! DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 6 DFS Picks

Josh Allen - BUF @ KC ($8,200)

Josh Allen's fantasy legend continues to grow. Allen flashed his seemingly limitless DFS ceiling last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers by dropping 39.2 DK points with ease. It marked the second time this season that the Buffalo pivot has topped 400 passing yards in a single game.

The truly scary thing about last week's explosion? Allen and the Bills' offense called the dogs off fairly early into the second half. That likely won't be the case this week against the Kansas City Chiefs in what's the most high-profile matchup on the slate. When these teams met in last year's Divisional Playoffs, they produced one of the finest offensive games in history, combining for a total of 78 points and 974 total yards. Allen's potential is off the charts in this type of game environment.

Geno Smith - ARI @ SEA ($5,700)

I have no idea what the DraftKings pricing algorithm has against Geno Smith (and multiple other Seattle Seahawks), but I suppose we shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. Smith's recent output dwarfs his paltry $5.7k price tag. He's now thrown for 320 or more yards in two of Seattle's last three and totaled an eye-opening eight total TDs, yet still carries a sub-$6k price on this slate.

Smith helms the top-ranked Pass DVOA offense and now draws a pace-up home matchup against a mediocre-at-best Arizona Cardinals squad. The Cards rank just 27th in the NFL in Pass Defense DVOA.

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 6 DFS Picks

Author's Note: The RB position is packed with so many injury-dependent plays that I can't touch on them all in this article. I will update this section over the weekend and urge you to stay tuned to RotoBaller player news for injury updates up until kickoff.

Rhamondre Stevenson - NE @ CLE ($6,000)

Stuck in a classic Bill Belichick RBBC situation, Rhamondre Stevenson was able to shine when backfield mate Damien Harris left New England's Week 5 matchup early with a hamstring injury. Stevenson's expanded workload led to 175 total yards on 27 touches. With Harris looking highly doubtful for this week's tilt against Cleveland, Stevenson catapults to the top of the RB position thanks to his obvious talent, reasonable $6k price tag, unobstructed workload, and a juicy matchup against a Browns run defense that is allowing the second-most yards per carry (5.94) in the NFL this season.

Kenneth Walker III - ARI @ SEA ($5,400) & Eno Benjamin - ARI @ SEA ($4,600)

This Arizona vs Seattle matchup has two interesting backfield situations...

Seattle's Rashaad Penny went down with a season-ending injury last week, which pushes rookie Kenneth Walker III into the lead role for the Seahawks. Walker won the Doak Walker Award while at Michigan St. last year and flashed his talent and explosiveness with a 69-yard TD run in relief of Penny last week against New Orleans. While DeeJay Dallas will mix in for some pass-down work, the talented rookie will handle the bulk of the load for Seattle going forward.

On the other side of this matchup, all eyes will be on James Conner's injury status. The Arizona RB went down with a rib injury last week and has yet to log a practice as of this writing. Conner's backfield mate Darrel Williams also left with an injury last week and has already been ruled out for Week 6.

Arizona will turn to Eno Benjamin if Conner is either out or limited. Benjamin looked sharp in a dual-threat relief role last week, rushing for 25 yards and a score on eight carries, while also hauling in three catches for 28 yards through the air. If he gets the call, he'll face a Seattle unit that was just gashed by Alvin Kamara and has allowed the second-most rushing yards in the NFL this season.

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 6 DFS Picks

Justin Jefferson - MIN @ MIA ($8,900)

Giving Cooper Kupp a legitimate run as the NFL's best wide receiver, Justin Jefferson comes into a Week 6 matchup against the Miami Dolphins as the league leader in receiving yards (547) and on the heels of back-to-back outings with at least 10 catches and 145 yards. As if that weren't enough, Jefferson hasn't done the griddy since Week 1, so there's positive TD regression coming his way at some point very soon.

With almost the entirety of Miami's secondary nursing one injury or another, the Dolphins have allowed a massive 9.26 yards per target to opposing wideouts this season and stand dead last in the NFL in Pass Defense DVOA.

Tyler Lockett - ARI @ SEA ($5,600)

I realize this is a Seattle-centric article, but we can't forget about Tyler Lockett. The veteran's egregious DK price is perhaps the biggest head-scratcher of them all this week. Despite dropping 30.4 DK points on New Orleans last week, Lockett's DK salary has remained exactly the same for Week 6. As a result, his ownerhip will be massive - which always warrants fade consideration in large-field GPPs - but if you are playing cash, single-entry, or small-field tournaments this is as close as it gets to a "free square" in NFL DFS.

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 6 DFS Picks

Mark Andrews - BAL @ NYG ($7,000)

Baltimore's superstar returns to the main slate fresh off a huge 8/89/1 outing against the Bengals on Sunday night. It's now a surprise when he doesn't have a monster game.

Andrews has picked up the slack for the Ravens' underwhelming receiving corps that could be without Rashod Bateman again in Week 6. He remains Lamar Jackson's favorite target and his 9.2 targets per game rank second among all TEs, while his 95.6 Air Yards per game lead the position by a significant margin.

David Njoku - NE @ CLE ($4,000)

After waiting for a breakout from the athletic freak for years, apparently Jacoby Brissett was the skeleton key needed to unlock David Njoku. Go figure...

Buoyed by consistent volume - 29 targets over Cleveland's last four - the 26-year-old has amassed 289 receiving yards, which is the fifth-most at the TE position. He's set to square off against New England in Week 6, a matchup that's historically been a tough one for tight ends. But the Pats aren't what they once were, as opposing TEs have found the paint five times against them this season. Njoku's talent has never been in question and now that he's finally found some consistent volume he's a no-brainer at this moderate $4k price tag.
