DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (9/26/22): Today's Top MLB DFS Lineups

Bo Bichette - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB DFS Picks, Betting Picks

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on September 26, 2022. Euan Leith's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Monday, RotoBallers! With a week and a half of the regular season to go, it's one of the most important times of the year to check your lineups before lock. Unfortunately, DFS managers can't assume the regular lineup these days as some teams are dreaming of the golf course, and others are planning for the postseason. So turn those notifications on the RotoBaller app to stay as up-to-date as possible.

One of the smallest slates of the year kicks off the last whole week of the regular season. As a result, differentiating our lineups with only four games on the schedule will be difficult. The plan is to avoid the pitchers in the New York-Toronto matchup, pay down at pitching, and load up on some expensive bats.

This article will always provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. Monday's main slate locks at 6:35 pm EST on 9/26/2022. The lineup picks will range from some elite, high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. Now that we got all that out of the way, it's onto the picks!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Bryce Elder at WAS ($8,400 DraftKings; TBD FanDuel)

If we're avoiding Kevin Gausman and Luis Severino, then Bryce Elder is the only pitching option above $8,000. The right-handed hurler gets another start for the Braves, and it'll be his second start in a row against the Nationals. Last time out, he limited the D.C. team to four hits and one earned run over 5 2/3 innings while striking out six and inducing 10 groundball outs. Over his last three starts, Elder has 22 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings and has a sneaky strikeout upside on Monday.

Chase Anderson at PIT ($6,300 DK; $7,400 FD)

Targeting one of these offenses is a good idea on the four-game slate, and Pittsburgh's 26.4 percent strikeout rate to right-handed pitchers in September was the deciding factor. While Cincinnati isn't a tough matchup either, Chase Anderson's been stretched to 89 pitches in his last start and should have enough in the tank to grab some cheap strikeouts for your DFS lineups. Pittsburgh's producing a .673 OPS and .296 wOBA this month, and Anderson should be able to contain any possible damage.

Also consider: Kevin Gausman, Luis Severino, Roansy Contreras

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Adley Rutschman - C, BAL at Connor Seabold ($4,700 DK; $3,100 FD)

Ryan Mountcastle - 1B, BAL at Connor Seabold ($4,000 DK; $2,700 FD)

Baltimore is trying to hang around in the AL Wildcard race for a few more days, but they need its best players to produce. DFS managers shouldn't be concerned about Rustchman, but Mountcastle will be the difference on such a small slate. The Orioles' first baseman only has a .718 OPS over his last 10 games. However, a date with Connor Seabold can change that in a hurry. The Red Sox hurler has allowed four home runs in four starts and been tagged for seven earned runs twice.

Gleyber Torres - 2B, NYY at Kevin Gausman ($4,200 DK; $3,400 FD)

As the regular season winds down, Gleyber Torres is stepping up for New York as they look to secure the 2022 AL East crown. In September, the Yankee's second baseman has six homers and 19 RBI, while his .419 wOBA is third at the position. The 25-year-old is locked into the three-hole in New York's lineup, making his Monday price point even more appealing.

Bo Bichette - SS, TOR vs. Luis Severino ($6,000 DK; $4,200 FD)

A quiet weekend doesn't diminish how great September has been for Bo Bichette. Across 24 games, the Blue Jays shortstop slashes .402/.445/.725 with 20 runs, 18 extra-base hits (seven homers), and 25 RBI. Yes, he's expensive, but if you avoid the two $10,000 pitchers, it's easy enough to land Bichette on your DFS roster.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Judge - OF, NYY at Kevin Gausman ($6,400 DK; $5,100 FD)

The Yankees outfielder couldn't tie Roger Maris' AL home run record over the weekend in a four-game set with the Red Sox. So his next chance to make history will be north of the border against the Blue Jays. Despite the weekend "slump," the likely AL MVP has 12 runs, four doubles, five home runs, and 7 RBI in his last 10 games. Plus, by rostering Judge, you can tell your grandkids he was in your DFS lineup the day he tied (or maybe even broke) the AL home run record.

George Springer - OF, TOR vs. Luis Severino ($5,900 DK; $3,700 FD)

If DFS managers want to pivot away from the (likely) Yankee lovefest, going from Judge to George Springer is a viable strategy. When the slugging outfielder is on a tear like he is currently, I usually keep riding it until it's over. He can take over a baseball game, producing a .300 batting average and 1.006 OPS in his last 10 contests. I expect his roster percentage to come in far lower than Judge's, making him a terrific tournament option.

Michael Harris II - OF, ATL vs. Cory Abbott ($4,700 DK; $4,100 FD)

It's probably blasphemous to say this, but Michael Harris is the best outfielder for the Atlanta Braves this season. With an NL Rookie of the Year award all but won and one home run and a steal away from a 20-20 season, the lefty-swinging rookie deserves all the praise he can get. Tonight, he meets Cory Abbott for the second time in a week. I'm still betting on Harris to take advantage of Abbott's 12.7 percent home run to flyball ratio and 12.5 percent barrels allowed rate.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

  • New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays (Kevin Gausman, RHP)
  • Baltimore Orioles at Boston Red Sox (Connor Seabold, RHP)
  • Atlanta Braves at Washington Nationals (Cory Abbott, RHP)
