Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 14:

Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington (hip) is absent from practice on Wednesday due to a hip injury, according to Demetrius Harvey of Jaguars.com. Washington injured his hip in the Week 13 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and is now up in the air to play in a crucial Week 14 divisional game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The 23-year-old had just one catch on three targets for 26 yards last weekend before getting hurt and never returning. Washington has displayed some nice chemistry with quarterback Trevor Lawrence this year and has been useful as a sneaky flex play here and there, but his fantasy stock had already taken a hit with the return of Brian Thomas Jr. last week.

If Parker Washington cannot go in Week 14, Tim Patrick should start in three-wide sets alongside Thomas and Jakobi Meyers.

Andrei Iosivas, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas has gotten extra playing time the last two weeks with Ja'Marr Chase (suspension) and Tee Higgins (concussion) missing time. Iosivas had four catches for 61 yards against the Patriots without Chase, but he only managed one catch for 29 yards against the Ravens.

He still had a solid fantasy day, though, since his 29-yard catch went for a touchdown. With Higgins still in the concussion protocol as the week of preparation begins for the Bengals' trip to Buffalo, Iosivas could be in an expanded role again this week.

If Higgins is out again, Iosivas will be a high-risk flex play with good upside since he should be set for more targets once again as Joe Burrow settles in and the Bengals try to make a late playoff push. Until Higgins is cleared, Iosivas still has solid fantasy value and potential.

Trey Benson, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee), who remains on Injured Reserve, is not practicing on Wednesday, according to The Arizona Republic's Theo Mackie. Benson had his 21-day practice window opened two weeks ago, but this will be his third straight missed practice since last week, which doesn't bode well for him making his return in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams.

The 23-year-old second-year back has been sidelined since Week 4 after undergoing knee surgery. Benson figures to be Arizona's lead back when he finally returns, which makes him stash-worthy in all fantasy football leagues, but he'll also be a pretty shaky play in his first game back.

If Benson makes it back onto the practice field this week and gets clear to play this weekend, fantasy managers should expect him to be eased back into the offense alongside Bam Knight.

Jaleel Mclaughlin, RB, Denver Broncos

For the second straight game in Sunday night's overtime win over the Washington Commanders, Denver Broncos running back Jaleel McLaughlin served as the team's No. 2 RB with J.K. Dobbins (foot) out for the year. McLaughlin played only 19% of the offensive snaps and had seven total touches for the second straight game.

His six rushing attempts (24 yards) were second on the team behind rookie RJ Harvey's 13 carries (35 yards). Harvey wasn't efficient (2.7 yards per tote), but he found the end zone twice. Although McLaughlin's snap count was his highest of the year, he was outsnapped by Harvey, Tyler Badie, and Adam Prentice. Before Denver's Week 12 bye, McLaughlin had six carries for 19 yards and his first touchdown of the year in the Week 11 win over the Chiefs.

The 25-year-old's limited usage is likely to continue going into a Week 14 divisional clash with the Raiders, making him only a deep-league stash for RB depth. McLaughlin is currently rostered in only 2% of Yahoo leagues.

Keaton Mitchell, RB, Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell scored for the first time this year in last Thursday's Thanksgiving Day loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Mitchell was extremely efficient with his limited opportunities on Turkey Day, taking two carries for 19 yards and a touchdown while picking up 12 receiving yards on his two receptions (three targets).

The 23-year-old third-year back only played 13% of the offensive snaps as Baltimore's RB3, though, behind Rasheen Ali (48% snap share) and Derrick Henry (40%). Mitchell had a nice 18-yard touchdown scamper against the Bengals and has intriguing explosiveness out of the backfield, but right now he's stuck as the No. 3 option in the Ravens' backfield, making him a hard sell for a roster spot in 12-team fantasy leagues.

Keaton Mitchell has added value in leagues that include return yardage on special teams. Mitchell had 91 return yards on three kickoffs in Week 13.

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee) is missing another practice on Wednesday, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports. Kamara sprained his MCL in the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and did not play in the Week 13 loss to the Miami Dolphins after missing practice all of last week.

With the Saints well out of playoff contention, it seems likely that the 30-year-old will miss another game this weekend when the team takes on the division-rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With Kamara out last Sunday, rookie Devin Neal made his first career start and played a season-high 82% of the offensive snaps, taking 17 touches for 69 yards from scrimmage.

In a plus matchup, Neal will be on the RB2/3 borderline for fantasy managers as New Orleans' lead back if Kamara is forced to sit out another game.

Tank Bigsby, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Across 11 games since being acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles, running back Tank Bigsby has recorded just 18 carries for 164 yards. As long as star Eagles running back Saquon Barkley remains healthy, there appears to be a firm ceiling on Bigsby's playing time and opportunity for touches.

The 24-year-old has logged double-digit offensive snaps in just one game this season. However, Bigsby's average of 9.1 rushing yards per attempt is a clear indicator of his significant production upside if Barkley were to suffer an injury. In a larger, 168-carry sample size across 16 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024, Bigsby averaged 4.6 yards per attempt and scored seven rushing touchdowns.

Bigsby's never provided much production as a receiver, so fellow Eagles back Will Shipley would likely handle passing-downs work even if Barkley were to go down. Still, Bigsby is a high-end handcuff option who is worth rostering in fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden (wrist) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice. Golden has only been able to play in one of the last four games due to shoulder and wrist injuries. The rookie wideout hasn't been able to practice in full over the last two weeks.

Fantasy managers will need to monitor his availability in practice over the next two days. When healthy, Golden has been disappointing with 24 receptions for 286 receiving yards in his first nine NFL games. There should be better streaming options available in most 12-team fantasy football formats ahead of Week 14.

At best, Golden is a low-end flex option in deep leagues for the upcoming matchup against the Chicago Bears. The likelihood of Golden making a fantasy impact down the stretch is only going to get tougher once Jayden Reed (foot, shoulder) returns from Injured Reserve, possibly this weekend.
