Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:
Ricky Pearsall, WR, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Thursday that wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) will return on Sunday to face the division-rival Arizona Cardinals in Week 11, according to KNBR. Pearsall finally returned to practice this week after spraining the PCL in his knee way back in Week 4, and he'll be back on the field this weekend as the Niners look to sweep the season series against Arizona.
In addition to Pearsall, quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) will be back. Both players have been sidelined since Week 4. The banged-up 49ers are getting closer to full health on offense.
Pearsall, a first-rounder in 2024, caught 20 of his 29 targets for 327 yards and no touchdowns in four games this year before injuring his knee. He will definitely be a starter in three-wide sets now that he's back, but he may be eased back into the offense, making him a shaky fantasy play in his first game back this weekend.
Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams (oblique) will be questionable for Week 11's divisional clash with the Seahawks. Head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Friday that his veteran star has progressed well throughout the week, and the team expects to have him available on Sunday.
Both the Rams and Seahawks come into Sunday's game with matching 7-2 records, tied not only at the top of the NFC West but also in a three-way tie with the Eagles for the best record in the conference. Adams has been a major piece of a Rams' offense that sees quarterback Matthew Stafford firmly entrenched in MVP conversations.
He has become the team's primary weapon near the goal line, bringing in six touchdown grabs over his last three games. Should he miss Sunday's game, running back Kyren Williams becomes even more likely to keep his own touchdown streak alive, having also found paydirt three times in his last two outings.
Jayden Higgins, WR, Houston Texans
Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Jayden Higgins turned in the best performance of his young career in Week 10, catching five of seven targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in the 36-29 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The 2025 second-round pick has struggled to carve out a consistent role in Houston's offense, often seeing limited snaps behind the team's other outside receivers. However, for just the second time this season, Higgins outsnapped Xavier Hutchinson, who has played 66% of the team's offensive snaps overall.
If Higgins continues to earn more playing time, he could emerge as the Texans' WR2 and a sneaky fantasy contributor down the stretch. He'll look to build on his momentum as RotoBaller's WR55 in half-PPR ranks for Week 11 against the Tennessee Titans.
Cooper Kupp, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring, wrist) looks like he will play on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Kupp was a question mark entering this week, but he did enough during practice to receive the go-ahead.. Unfortunately, Kupp should be overlooked as a fantasy option.
The volume simply is not there for the veteran. To make matters worse, the Rams are one of the better defenses in the NFL. This does not project to necessarily be a high-volume passing game between two teams with stellar defenses. Kupp has exceeded three targets on just three occasions this season.
With the addition of wide receiver Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline, Kupp figures to cede more volume in this offense. Seattle may give Kupp chances to prove to his old team that he still has what it takes in this league, but do not bank on that narrative. You are better off with Kupp on your bench this week.
Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten had a season-high nine carries for 29 yards and scored his third touchdown of the year in the Week 9 overtime win over the Las Vegas Raiders. However, Tuten was unable to build on that performance in the Week 10 loss to the Houston Texans, carrying the ball just four times for five yards while catching one of his two targets for five additional yards.
The 23-year-old played a season-high 27% of the offensive snaps, but fellow rookie LeQuint Allen Jr. saw a season-high 32% of the snaps as well. Travis Etienne Jr. remains the Jags' clear top back in Jacksonville, even though Tuten has teased fantasy managers in his rookie season with explosiveness and power out of the backfield.
Tuten has fantasy value as a handcuff to Etienne, but he'll continue to be hard to trust as a touchdown-dependent RB4 heading into a Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers.
