The Minnesota Vikings feel like one of those teams that is always very good, but never great. The question that is asked about them every year, remains the same.
Will this finally be the season they break out? Aren't they overdue to get over that hump? Only time will tell, but the law of averages suggests that will eventually be the case.
The 2023 NFL schedule is out, and fantasy managers are wondering how the Vikings' opponents may impact their players this upcoming season. Let's take a look at how it might all shake out.

What Is The Minnesota Vikings 2023 Schedule?
Last year Minnesota had an excellent season. They finished first in the NFC North with a 13-4 record and looked well on their way toward a deep playoff run. However, once again, they underperformed in the postseason, losing to the Giants in the wild-card round.
Will 2023 be any different? Will it just be another fantastic regular season and then a failed run at the Lombardi trophy?
If one were to glance at the team's schedule, it would appear quite difficult, as the Vikings will face the powerhouse Eagles, Chiefs, and 49ers, all in the first half of the season. Down the stretch, they will go on the road for some tough matchups against the Bengals, Broncos, and upstart Lions. While it may appear like a taunting road ahead, the opponents winning average percentage which they will face is just .497, which is tied for the 18th most difficult in the league.
How Will The Vikings Schedule Affect Fantasy Football?
The Vikings will play five prime-time games in 2023, meaning they are still a top attraction. Besides their star quarterback, Kirk Cousins, the one name people come to see and fantasy owners salivate over is super stud wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
Will the schedule impact the performance or fantasy numbers of the all-world pass-catching freak known as JJ? Absolutely not, as Jefferson will put up monster stats wherever he plays, and that includes on the moon.
The other fantasy players on the Minnesota roster worth mentioning are star running back Dalvin Cook and uber-talented tight end T.J. Hockenson. Both should continue to be top picks at their respective positions in fantasy drafts this fall. The schedule for 2023 is a fairly difficult one for the purple and white, with some tough defenses on the calendar. But when it comes to Jefferson, Cousins, Hockenson, and Cook, expect similar stellar numbers for each like the ones they have put up the past two seasons.
