Week 7 DraftKings NFL DFS Picks - Main Slate (2024): Jayden Daniels, Bijan Robinson, Justin Jefferson, and more

Jayden Daniels - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Joe Nicely's DraftKings NFL DFS picks and lineup sleepers for the Week 7 (October 2024) Main Slate. His top daily fantasy football lineups to target for DraftKings DFS contests.

It's great to be back with you talking the DraftKings Week 7 Main Slate! First off, a huge thank you to the amazing Jamie Calandro for filling in for me on this article last week. You can catch Jamie's terrific work here at RotoBaller all season and follow him on X here!

With bye weeks, a London game, and a Monday night doubleheader, we're dealing with a rather compressed Main Slate this week. However, there's certainly no shortage of marquee matchups and explosive DFS possibilities.

These DraftKings lineup recommendations are based on matchups, projected DK points and ownership, overall upside/talent levels, and opportunity, as well as factors such as Vegas odds, home-field advantage, and more. There are quite a few great plays available on DK for Week 7. Also, be sure to check out our weekly FanDuel DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win MORE in 2024! Good luck with your DraftKings DFS lineups -- let's dominate this slate together!

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge #2 is back with a massive $100,000 grand prize and $203,250 total prize pool, paying down to 100th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 8 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 17th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $100,000! DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 7 DFS Picks

Jayden Daniels - CAR at WAS ($7,600)

Layups can be hard to pinpoint in NFL DFS, so I won't be shy about spending up for Jayden Daniels this week. The rookie has been nothing short of superstar-level through his first six NFL starts, recording 20 or more DraftKings points in five of those outings.

Daniels has greatly exceeded expectations with his polished passing ability. He's fifth in the NFL at 8.5 yards per attempt and third in the league with a true completion percentage of 76.7%.

While he's been better than anyone could've hoped for as a thrower, what truly separates the Washington rookie is his elite rushing ability. He's second in the NFL in QB carries (63), rushing yards (322), and rushing TDs (four). An abysmal Panthers defense that's allowing the NFL's most points per game (33.8) has little hope of slowing Daniels down.

Geno Smith - SEA at ATL ($5,800)

This matchup has all the trappings of a shootout ... a domed environment, sky-high O/U, and offenses that operate as two of the league's fastest above neutral pace. The Seahawks specifically boast the NFL's highest pass rate -- an eye-popping 71.6% -- which has led to Geno Smith leading the league in both pass attempts (251) and passing yards (1,778) through the first six weeks of the season.

In addition to all the positive game environment factors listed above, Smith draws a decent matchup against the Falcons defense. Atlanta has relinquished the league's sixth-most passing TDs (eight) while consistently struggling to get any pressure on opposing QBs. If you're looking for a strong sub-$6K option this week, circle Smith's name.

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 7 DFS Picks

Kyren Williams - LV at LAR ($8,100)

Being utilized as one of the NFL's only true workhorse running backs, Williams' expected volume is the stuff DFS dreams are made of. He leads the league in snap share (86.2%) and red-zone touches (32). Oh yes ... there will be plenty of opportunities this week.

Williams comes into Week 7 well-rested off L.A.'s bye and with an appetizing matchup against the Raiders. Las Vegas has been gashed on the ground and is one of just five NFL teams allowing more than five yards per carry to opposing RBs this season.

In the rare spot where the Rams are expected to be playing with a lead, I'm penciling Williams in for 20+ touches in this juicy scenario.

Bijan Robinson - SEA at ATL ($7,100)

We've already discussed the tremendous game environment that this matchup presents when highlighting Geno Smith. The DFS upside isn't limited to the Seahawks QB, as Atlanta's Bijan Robinson profiles as one of the strongest RB options on this slate.

The second-year pro comes into the week off his best outing of the season -- 25.5 DK points -- against the Panthers and he'll have a strong chance to keep the positive momentum rolling against Seattle.

The Seahawks have been destroyed by opposing RBs as of late. Mike Macdonald's unit has allowed more than 400 rushing yards over its last two games and its mark of 5.22 yards per carry allowed to the running back position ranks 30th in the NFL.

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 7 DFS Picks

Justin Jefferson - DET at MIN ($8,500)

Sure, there's probably no such thing as a bad time to play Justin Jefferson, but this matchup against Detroit feels like an especially juicy spot to spend up for the Vikings superstar receiver. JJ has owned the Lions, going for over 100 receiving yards in six of his last seven games against Minnesota's divisional rival.

Jefferson has traditionally shredded man coverage, which the Lions heavily deploy. He'll face a combination of Detroit corners that includes rookie Terrion Arnold, Carlton Davis III, and Amik Robertson, none of whom grade out in the top 40 in the NFL at the CB position, per PFF.

This Lions secondary as a whole has relinquished the most catches (95) and fourth-most yards (1,056) in the league to the WR position this season. We're probably gonna see the Griddy this week.

Tank Dell - HOU at GB ($6,500)

Tank Dell wasted little time announcing his presence with Nico Collins out of the Houston lineup. After a quiet start to the season, Dell came alive with seven catches for 57 yards and a TD on a team-leading nine targets in Week 6.

With Collins sidelined, the path to usage for Dell is clear as crystal, as -- along with Stefon Diggs -- he'll continue to soak up a huge chunk of the Texans' passing game volume.

A rookie standout in 2023, Dell still possesses game-breaking potential, and it's a potential blow-up spot for him in Week 7 against a Green Bay secondary that's yielded an eye-opening 17 completions of 20 or more yards this season.

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 7 DFS Picks

George Kittle - KC at SF ($6,000)

While George Kittle is one of my favorite players to watch in the NFL, I'm often reluctant to pay the freight for him in DFS unless there's an injury to one of the Niners receivers (not an uncommon occurrence).

However, Kittle has paid off his DFS investors in spades this season, even when San Fran has had its full wide receiver corps available. He's dropped 20+ DK points in three of the last four games he's suited up and he leads all NFL tight ends in both DraftKings points scored and TD receptions.

Though I'm not usually eager to target the Chiefs defense, the tight-end position has been the Achilles heel of this unit in 2024. Kansas City has allowed the most DraftKings points and receptions (37) in the NFL to opposing TEs this season.

Grant Calcaterra - PHI at NYG ($3,200)

This play will require you to monitor Dallas Goedert's status into the weekend, but as of this writing, he looks very doubtful to suit up in Week 7. Should Goedert indeed miss this game, Eagles tight end Grant Calcaterra would be a huge beneficiary of his absence.

Following Goedert's early exit last week, Calcaterra hauled in all four of his targets for 67 yards while compiling an 84.6% route share in this Philly passing attack.

He would be way behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith in the Eagles pecking order, but Calcaterra has proven himself to be a reliable pass-catcher when asked to fill in for Goedert in the past. He offers some much-needed salary relief at just $3,200.
