Trey McBride's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Trey McBride for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 8+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Last week, the Arizona Cardinals got quarterback Kyler Murray back on the field for the first time this season. His favorite target in that game? Second-year tight end Trey McBride.
McBride was targeted nine times, catching eight passes for 131 yards. It was the second big game in a three-week span for McBride, who had 10 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown back in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens.
This week, McBride has a great matchup against a Houston Texans defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. You can make a solid argument based on matchup and recent usage that McBride is a top-five play at the position in Week 11.
If there's any downside here, it's that Marquise Brown could get more involved this week, which theoretically might take a few opportunities away from McBride. It's worth mentioning as a concern, but it's not really something that changes the fact that McBride should be started in all formats unless you've got Travis Kelce, T.J. Hockenson, Sam LaPorta, or George Kittle on your roster. Even then, he still has plenty of value as a flex play.
