We're done with Week 6, and to say that this season has been shocking would be an understatement. Many high-profile RBs have been major disappointments in fantasy football, and finding solid contributors from the waiver wire is crucial.
In this article, we will focus on Sean Tucker, Hassan Haskins, and Tyjae Spears. Tucker continued his trend of playing well in the sixth week of the season, putting up the second-most fantasy points of his career one year after his 2024 Week 6 explosion. Haskins was praised for his good blocking and could get solid opportunities on an injured Chargers team, while Spears had a higher snap share than Titans RB1 Tony Pollard.
Are Tucker, Haskins, and Spears worth adding off the waiver wire in Week 7? Here are the latest outlooks on each for fantasy football.

Despite going through an injury crisis, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently have the best record in the NFC, as they're 5-1 heading into Week 7. Their RB room hasn't been safe from this injury crisis, as Bucky Irving has missed each of the team's last two games.

However, the Bucs managed to win both games with Rachaad White and Tucker leading the team's rushing attack.
Tucker, who shockingly led all players in standard fantasy scoring in Week 6 of the 2024 season, had the second-best fantasy performance of his career exactly one year later.
After recording a total of 0.1 fantasy points in the first five weeks, Tucker scored a touchdown in the Bucs' 30-19 win against the 49ers in Week 6, finishing as the standard format RB17 with 8.5 points.
Per Bucs reporter Evan Closky, Irving is "almost certainly" not playing in Week 7 against Detroit. Tucker will be a relevant player for as long as Irving is out, as the team will hope he can keep performing well as their RB2 to continue their winning ways despite the absence of their stars.
Hassan Haskins Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

Haskins' situation is quite similar to Tucker's. The Chargers entered this season expecting new arrivals Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton to lead their rushing attack.

However, it took just five weeks for both Harris and Hampton to find themselves on the Injured Reserve list. This left Haskins and Kimani Vidal as the only RBs left on the depth chart, and prior to Week 6.
Both players had combined for just 111 NFL rushing attempts leading up to Week 6. Vidal shocked the world against the Dolphins, rushing for 124 yards and scoring a receiving touchdown.
Haskins didn't come close to replicating Vidal's success, as he had seven total touches for 23 scrimmage yards. The good news is that he appeared in 31.3% of the Chargers' offensive snaps, and will continue to do so until Harris and/or Hampton return.
On five pass-blocking snaps in Week 6, Haskins received an 81.7 pass-blocking grade from PFF, and his blocking ability could open up more opportunities for him down the line.
Tyjae Spears Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

After showing promise in his rookie season, some fans believed Spears was the heir apparent to King Henry's throne in Tennessee. However, he stagnated following Henry's departure in an injury-riddled sophomore campaign, as he fell behind new arrival Pollard.

Spears started the 2025 season on the Injured Reserve list due to an ankle injury, a crushing blow for someone who needed to prove himself in a make-or-break year.
But it looks like the organization still believes in Spears. He returned to the field in Week 5, and in Week 6, he had a higher snap share (59%) than Pollard (42.6%).
He recorded 9.0 PPR points against the Raiders, finishing as the week's PPR RB21. Now that Brian Callahan is gone, Spears has the perfect opportunity to prove himself to the Titans' new head coach.
