Rhamondre Stevenson - Week 4 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks

Rhamondre Stevenson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Rhamondre Stevenson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 4 (2024). Should you start or sit Rhamondre Stevenson for fantasy football lineups?

BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues

POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end RB2

ANALYSIS: Fantasy managers should still consider starting Rhamondre Stevenson in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers, despite his disappointing performance in Week 3.

Stevenson saw fewer opportunities last week, with just six carries and a fumble, which led to less than one fantasy point. However, the drastic drop in usage was likely an outlier, as Stevenson had been a workhorse in the first two games of the season, seeing over 20 carries in each.

His role as the lead back remains intact, and the Patriots’ coaching staff could lean heavily on him to control the tempo and keep the 49ers’ potent offense off the field. Stevenson will also still be used in the passing game.

Additionally, while the 49ers' defense is known for its strong run-stopping ability, Stevenson’s dual-threat capability as a pass-catcher could provide him extra value.

San Francisco has allowed running backs to make plays in the receiving game, and Stevenson has proven he can contribute as a reliable target out of the backfield.

With his versatility and likelihood to see a return to higher volume, Stevenson presents a solid starting option, even in a tough matchup. Fantasy managers could view him as a solid RB2 option this week.
