PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks is a great DFS picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.

On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point.

Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points, and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point.

Keenan Allen MORE than 68.5 receiving yards

Keenan Allen hauled in six of nine targets for 76 yards last week against a Miami Dolphins secondary that was supposed to be vastly improved from 2022. In Week 2, Allen will be up against a Titans defense that just allowed Chris Olave and Michael Thomas to combine for 173 receiving yards.

In 2022, this Titans defense ranked third-worst in the league in terms of receiving yards per game allowed to wide receivers by allowing an average of over 188 yards per game. Allen is the no-doubt number one wide receiver in Los Angeles and a prop this low should always be considered, especially when he is healthy.

David Montgomery MORE than 59.5 rushing yards

In Week 1, David Montgomery looked like the feature back in Detroit as he carried the ball 21 times for 71 rushing yards and a touchdown. This week, he will be up against a Seattle defense that allowed the sixth-most rushing yards per game to the running back position by allowing an average of nearly 115 rushing yards per game.

The Lions will enter this game as near-touchdown favorites as well. This tells me that they could rely more heavily on the run as the game gets later into the fourth quarter, which would increase Montgomery's chances of eclipsing this total.

Ja'Marr Chase MORE than 80.5 receiving yards

Things did not go well for Joe Burrow and the Bengals' offense in Week 1. That being said, it does not mean a solid performance from the Bengals' wide receiving corps is not possible against the Ravens in Week 2. After all, the Ravens allowed 200 yards receiving to the Houston Texans' wideouts in Week 1, which was the fifth-most allowed to the position.

The Ravens also ranked fifth-worst in the NFL in 2022 in terms of receiving yards allowed to the position as they allowed an average of 168 yards per game. In two games against the Ravens in 2022, Chase combined for 15 catches and 156 receiving yards while eclipsing this total in one of those two games. It should also be noted that although his production was down in Week 1 (five receptions for 39 yards), he still managed nine targets in the game. A similar workload this week should pay dividends.

Travis Etienne MORE than 58.5 rushing yards

Travis Etienne is coming off of a solid Week 1 performance in which he carried the ball 18 times for 77 rushing yards. He has now carried the ball 17 or more times in five of his previous eight games and should have a solid matchup this week against the Kansas City Chiefs. In Week 1, Kansas City allowed 116 rushing yards to the running back position, which was the seventh-most in the league.

In 2022, the Chiefs allowed nearly 82 rushing yards per game to the running back position. While most of this was due to DT Chris Jones, he will be returning this week. However, how in sync he will be is yet to be determined. This is why I like Etienne in this spot as the Jaguars will likely come out and attempt to establish the run against a defense that left a lot on the field in Week 1.
