Zach Ertz Done For The Season
2 years agoArizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz (knee) suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Week 10 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, according to sources. It's a tough blow for the team and the veteran Ertz. The 32-year-old is going for a second opinion on his knee, but it's believed that he won't play again in 2022. If it's confirmed with a second opinion, Ertz will finish with 47 receptions on 69 targets for 406 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games played in his first full season in Arizona. With Ertz likely out of the picture for the rest of the way, tight ends Trey McBride and Stephen Anderson are in line to see much bigger roles at the position, while receivers DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore, A.J. Green, Robbie Anderson and Greg Dortch could also see more targets.
