Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Wyatt Hubert announced his retirement from the NFL on Saturday, citing his "physical health" as the primary reason for him stepping away. Hubert was selected in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft and sustained a torn pectoral muscle during the offseason, which prevented him from appearing in any game action during his rookie year. Hubert, a Kansas native, played collegiately for Kansas State, where he was a two-time First-team All-Big 12 selection. The Bengals defense remains a middle-of-the-pack unit for the upcoming '22 season.--Jesse Borek
